I think what people want is for AEW to craft their own "AJ Styles". Someone whose TV presence is firmly an AEW product and not imported from a rival promotion. They cut their teeth in AEW and became a main eventer specifically because of their AEW work.

Yeah. We're seen as "attention seeking" straights, "fake gays", "promiscuous cheaters", and "people who want it both ways". It stings worse when it comes from those in the community more than just ignorant straight people.
