It got worse. They use to allow words like damn and crap on the air in cartoons and then there were a lot of weirdos complaining so they couldn't even do that in like 2005. I have no idea how it is now.

Regular Show, which came out in 2010, used to use the word "crap" a lot during its first and second seasons.

"Crap" was never censored in the United States (which kinda figures since it's not really a swear anyway, even though more uptight parents treat it like one), but instances of "pissed" in three Season 1 episodes, as well as Rigby saying "How in the H are we gonna fix this S?" in the first episode, were edited to replace them with "ticked" and "How in the heck are we gonna fix this stuff?"

Oddly enough, there are odd instances of characters saying "What the H?" in other episodes that were never edited.

Depends on the band.

Slipknot, Korn, System of a Down, and Linkin Park are great.

I've noticed this too.

There's something about forums that just encourage people to be their worst selves. On Discord, it seems like the people behaving like jackasses tend to be in the minority, especially in smaller, more close-knit servers.

I can tell you for a fact that I far more closely resemble my real life personality on Discord than on this site, because over there I feel far less of a need to be defensive.

The "Kallo" is an inside joke from middle school.

A couple of my friends and I thought those "Caillou Gets Grounded" videos were hilarious, and the text-to-speech voices were constantly fucking up Caillou's name as stuff like "K-I-U" or "Kaylew."

We wrote a book together that never made it past the first page, and my friend spelled it out as "Kallo." I thought the name sounded cool, so I just tweaked the pronunciation by making the A into the sound used for words like "apple."

Then I added "Fox" because one of my other friends had become a furry around that time, and had a similar online handle with the word "wolf." The 34 also came from that.

The Academy Awards are paid for. The whole thing is rigged. It was made for narcissists to congratulate themselves. Voters aren't even required to watch the nominated movies. They just go with the one that was better promoted. Producers aiming to win actually dedicate a budget for that purpose. The whole organization believes that animation is a genre, not a medium. They're snobs.

The 94th Academy Awards were downright insulting... actresses from the live-action remakes openly cracking jokes about how only children like animated films... because of course Flee, one of the animated films nominated, is soooo child-friendly, what with it revolving around a refugee from Afghanistan in danger of being captured and killed.

It's a cartoon and not a movie, but Regular Show. Mordecai blew it with both Margaret and CJ, so in the fast-forward at the end of the finale, he wound up with a never-before-seen girl named Stef.

Same logic as the Boomers/Gen Xers who lump Gen Z in with Millennials.

Did you get the job?

Unfortunately, no. I was never emailed back.

I want to, and generally keep measurement settings at metric on my own devices.

However, being an American, and thus being surrounded by people who use the imperial system, obligates me to use imperial. I do not want to keep switching back and forth in the settings for, say, the weather app, just to be able to show my family the temperature.
