I stand by the notion that Clinton was the worst Democrat and Trump was one of the worst Republicans to run as well, making 2016 the election where some shitty candidate had to win.

Clinton - huge amount of baggage, very energetic base against her, very low party support outside of the insiders, and extremely low interest candidate other than the fact that she's a woman. She won the popular vote, and yet the share of the Democratic vote decreased dramatically and she failed to utterly stick to any issue other than the fact that she wasn't Trump.

Trump - energized a segment of the GOP, but turned off a huge number of voters as well and created a gigantic proportion that was fully against him at every step. With the exception of the creep show that was Cruz, I honestly believe that essentially any other Republican would've done as well, if not better, than Trump overall. For all the talk of the huge amount of voters he brought in, his proportion of the popular vote was about similar to McCain and Romney accounting for the increase in the overall electorate size. Not really tangible evidence to show that he was hugely more popular than other GOPers would've been.

Friday's the second best, as you've got the night free without worrying about work the next day. I'll take a work day with free night over an off day but being stuck knowing you have to go back to work the next day.

Getting out of the weekend, Thursdays and Wednesdays are the next best, as those days mean you are getting closer to the end of the week.

And Tuesdays are the worst because you still have almost an entire work week ahead of you and you're a day removed from the weekend's memories. So you're no longer relaxed and you've got a load of work ahead of you, versus being relaxed but having a load of work ahead of you on Monday.

My dad is a doctor and he took himself off the donor list after 1 too many times of witnessing the typical situation of people who desperately need an organ transplant getting pushed down the list to make way for some bigwig who gets high priority because he brings in the money. When you see how people misuse others generosity, it tends to leave you jaded and too disgusted to still be willing to throw your hat in the ring.

So... in response to bullshit practices of there not being enough organs to go around that the wealthy can push their way in, he choose to not be a donor and further exacerbate that reality?

I see more than enough situations in our hospital with people waiting in vain for organs that will never get them to give a fuck about a corpse still having their organs when they're buried or cremated. Hell, I've seen situations where people were organ donors but their family overrode their wish after they passed.
