Frankenstein was the bomb, Old Man And The Sea had some great descriptions. Can't really remember a bad one, actually.

Turn A, Macross 7 and Big O are my top three shows.

War in the Pocket, Getter Armageddon and Giant Robo are top OVAs.

Honorable mentions to Armored Trooper VOTOMs and Dai-Guard.

Speaking from a similar situation TC, I can tell you that my heart still hurts months later.

All I'll say is, cry if you have to, talk if you want to, but try to understand that your mother lives on through you, that even if you were fighting she loved you, and that you've got people for support when you need it.

It's going to hurt now and for awhile yet, but all you can do is keep trying--for yourself and for her.

Yeah, it was definitely one of those that was important for the time, but afterwards is kinda dull. Personally the character's actions and decision-making ability (or lack thereof) felt flaky to me.

Skyrim might not be right but werewolves in Morrowind are basically dogs. Any kind of movement is on all fours with a constant panting sound effect.

In Dragon Age Origins you can switch control to the Mabari hound, if he's in your party.

Edit: Oh hell I forgot a good one, Dead to Rights: Retribution. Half the game you play as Shadow, this giant killer Malamute. Definitely recommend, he's a good doggo.

Anyway, him. Marle isn't perfect but her, Crono and Robo are the best way to kick ass at Ocean Palace.

"That" guy doesn't work well with others, Frog is already there as party boss and his only special skill is learning shadow tech...which has limited use anyway, especially considering Robo already has it covered.

Yeah, personally I liked Borgias better. Jeremy Irons acts every scene like a champ, there's more action to balance the intrigue and it's not really weighed down by any "Great Matter" like the first bit of The Tudors was. The only problem is that it got canned early and so lacks a satisfactory conclusion.

Seeing Supes and Zod on the same screen for that season was hilarious. Charles sorta got on my nerves at first but his growth as a character was fantastic. Him and Henry as old men is probably my favorite scene from the show.

Damn, that's a good call. There's not much that could call me back to TV these days but I'd tune in to him as Dorian Grey. It'd be a great mini-series.

On that note, the only other thing I've seen him in was a mini where he played Elvis. I'd highly recommend that one too, it's probably the most honest and somewhat depressing portrayal of someone who too often gets stylized as leading a purely happy life.

Yeah it was pretty good. Natalie Dormer was definitely the best of the bunch, she stole the screen everytime she was on it. One of the few shows I've seen where you can't stand the main character but his antics basically fuel the plot.

If you liked The Tudors and haven't seen it yet, I'd recommend The Borgias. Same showrunner iirc, except the main cast is much more likeable. Only three seasons, though.

And as a bonus second rec, if you can separate awful character (King Henry) from awesome actor (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers), then check out the one season of Dracula from NBC. That show was super bad ass.

My dad had enough alcohol for the both of us and my mind is messed up enough as it is without adding booze to the mix. Honestly, I can't see a situation in which I'd ever drink.
