I could say the same back to you. You asserted that science is the "study of God's Creation". Science actually has nothing to say about religion.

But since you bit... "God" is a concept that disproves itself by being so completely self-contradictory. It's an incoherent concept lacking any cognitive content. I say there is no God hyperbolically because really I can't deny what can't even be defined by its believers. Maybe there is a creator, but I'm ruling this particular one out of the picture.

God is the designer. Down to our DNA. He designed everything available that benefits us. Mathematically designed the universe to function perfectly within its environmental functionly ability. If it were atheist functionality alone, we would've become extinct, year one. We were created in the image of God. We're designers and creators. We're flawed as fuck and cause more problems than we can fix. But, we're capable of greater things.

But I didn't say or even imply that science and religion are mutually exclusive. What I said is they are two different things and neither depends on the other. Not sure if you're being disingenuous again or really didn't understand me. Science is a method and the body of knowledge it produces. There is no God.

Well I don't believe you. But I am glad you stopped doing that. Most of us have personal lives and things going on that are more important than winning arguments on the internet. I find it hard to be apolitical these days.

That's quite the definitive statement. No evidence for that whatsoever.

What you're doing is one of the most disingenuous takes religionists constantly try to pull. You're trying to say that because some of the most important scientific discoveries were made by people who happened to be Christians (in times when you pretty much had no choice but to be/pretend to be a Christian, I might add) it was therefore Christianity that brought us science. But science always existed independent of and in many cases despite religion, never because of it. Georges Lematre was a Catholic priest, but also a theoretical physicist. One side religion, one side science.

Morality, another thing that exists independent of and despite religion.

Science is nothing but the study of God's creation and the how's and why's. Why anyone would think they're mutually exclusive is silly at best.

So what, we talking evolution denial? YEC? Flat earth?

You think that the goofy shit you insinuate are the only options in which Christians believe? Hell, we came up with the big bang theory. If we went with you guy's direction, we'd be eating each other and smearing ourselves with feces in order to protect us from the glowing fireball in the sky. Did... did you just try to insinuate that Christianity constitutes ultimate understanding of science? I sincerely hope you're just trying to acknowledge the contributions made by the Church to science (Mendel's research being probably the best-known example, but of course there's more than that) and doing so really awkwardly, but with how awkwardly you worded things, I have some concerns.

*Wordy slop attempting to sound more sophisticated than his mere 117 IQ*

Really? You don't say! Science and history sure is interesting! If only leftists knew how to read.
I'm going back to playing Exp33. I refuse to waste my time debating with leftists that are incapable of comprehending the basics. That are anti-science and anti human societal progression.

If there's one thing impressive about the current administration, it's how quickly they've speedrun themselves into an unabashed shitshow. Trump wasted no time whatsoever outing himself as an authoritarian nutjob to anyone that still had doubts, and unlike his first term, this time he's surrounded himself with sycophants desperate enough for his approval to go along with his efforts to treat the US as an extension of his swollen ego.

You're a representative of "talks a lot, doesn't say much". Poster child even. I'd be in some real trouble if my information processing was as bad as yours with the level of challenge I consistently wade through.
Leftists love to tout "we're more educated". Educated in what? Because it ain't fucking STEM fields (the Catholic church and their pursuit of God and the understanding of his creation pretty much established that). Pseudos. Pseudos everywhere! Lol

A bunch of pretentious pseudos that can't see the forest for the trees. I get it though. We were all raised to believe that the big news outlets were the arbiters of honest information. Except for that whole "both sides" hoax. Or COVID. Or Biden's health and brain function health. They lie. And lie. And lie. And lie. Never trust the establishment government. Democrat or Republican.

Let me back up a second. I did say in that post "it hardly matters" which isn't exactly true. The president having dementia IS important. It would have been nice to know that a while ago so the Democratic side could prepare accordingly. But after the fact, looking over his term as president, it is what it is. It doesn't matter too much now. We can evaluate his term, knowing he had dementia for some or most of it, and for the most part I liked what I saw, though it was far from perfect.

But yeah, at the end of the day, he ran, in my opinion, a better administration than what we see today under Trump, dementia, cancer, whatever, and all. I feel like we'll have to agree to disagree, because after 5 pages of back and forth, that would probably be the end result anyways.

Fair enough.

The left definitely will be cheering when Trump dies, I know I will. And yeah, if that kid actually managed to succeed at the Butler rally, i wouldn't have been sad one bit.

One person generally tried to be a good person, obviously didn't work out all the time, like Gaza, and the other person wakes up every day determined to be as big a piece of shit as possible.

I guess saying all that, I can't really be that upset with people dragging Biden through the mud over this. Though hearing for the 800th time "You mean to tell me they didn't catch this earlier?" is getting draining, because it hardly matters. Biden with dementia and possible cancer being there still ran a better administration than what we are seeing now.

The ignorance is ripe.

You don't really have to be a fan of Trump to point out that the Left would absolutely be celebrating if the roles were reversed. There are people on the Left who regularly advocate for someone to assassinate Trump, and other people on the Left who will actively cheer them on or defend them. If Trump came out tomorrow and said he had cancer there'd be people throwing parties. There's really no moral high ground here.

Being a piece of shit human being isn't limited to one side of the political spectrum.

And like it or not, every single thing one side does effectively opens the door to the other side doing it. It's why political discourse online is so toxic - because the worst elements on both sides are constantly racing to be the lowest common denominator in any conversation. Whatever shit thing you do today is the shit thing your opponents will be doing tomorrow, and vice-versa.

I am in no rush to swan dive to their subterranean levels of vile behavior or mindset.

I've been playing through Mass Effect again (the original version). I'm probably one of the few people who loved the Mako. That was a lot more fun than the stupid probe launching crap in ME2.

They should've kept the Mako and improved the overworld vehicle sections. The first two Mass Effects are gaming staples, imo, though ME2 tends to get the most credit do to having the best characters and story. I mean, pretty much the whole game is character side missions, after all.

I'm enjoying it. The levels are much larger than I expected and I like the melee combat a lot. Punching the fuck out of Nazis feels great. I honestly never use the pistol because beating Nazis to a pulp is way too satisfying. The puzzles aren't all that challenging, but I enjoy exploring the tombs and secret areas. I'm playing on default difficulties and it is fairly easy. The voice actor that plays Indy is phenomenal. Sounds a lot like Harrison Ford. The voice acting all around is strong. I haven't finished it yet but I'm feeling a strong 7/10 for this game, maybe a low 8.

I'll definitely be picking it up then. I'm a massive Indy fan and I've been waiting for a good Indy game for a while now.
