What you're doing is one of the most disingenuous takes religionists constantly try to pull. You're trying to say that because some of the most important scientific discoveries were made by people who happened to be Christians (in times when you pretty much had no choice but to be/pretend to be a Christian, I might add) it was therefore Christianity that brought us science. But science always existed independent of and in many cases despite religion, never because of it. Georges Lematre was a Catholic priest, but also a theoretical physicist. One side religion, one side science.

Let me back up a second. I did say in that post "it hardly matters" which isn't exactly true. The president having dementia IS important. It would have been nice to know that a while ago so the Democratic side could prepare accordingly. But after the fact, looking over his term as president, it is what it is. It doesn't matter too much now. We can evaluate his term, knowing he had dementia for some or most of it, and for the most part I liked what I saw, though it was far from perfect.

But yeah, at the end of the day, he ran, in my opinion, a better administration than what we see today under Trump, dementia, cancer, whatever, and all. I feel like we'll have to agree to disagree, because after 5 pages of back and forth, that would probably be the end result anyways.

You don't really have to be a fan of Trump to point out that the Left would absolutely be celebrating if the roles were reversed. There are people on the Left who regularly advocate for someone to assassinate Trump, and other people on the Left who will actively cheer them on or defend them. If Trump came out tomorrow and said he had cancer there'd be people throwing parties. There's really no moral high ground here.

And like it or not, every single thing one side does effectively opens the door to the other side doing it. It's why political discourse online is so toxic - because the worst elements on both sides are constantly racing to be the lowest common denominator in any conversation. I've been playing through Mass Effect again (the original version). I'm probably one of the few people who loved the Mako. That was a lot more fun than the stupid probe launching crap in ME2.

I'm enjoying it. The levels are much larger than I expected and I like the melee combat a lot. Punching the fuck out of Nazis feels great. I honestly never use the pistol because beating Nazis to a pulp is way too satisfying. The puzzles aren't all that challenging, but I enjoy exploring the tombs and secret areas. I'm playing on default difficulties and it is fairly easy. The voice actor that plays Indy is phenomenal. Sounds a lot like Harrison Ford. The voice acting all around is strong. I haven't finished it yet but I'm feeling a strong 7/10 for this game, maybe a low 8.

Most of the reviews I've seen refer to it as a turn-based RPG with strong Soulslike elements.

It's entirely possible that's wrong though. I haven't delved deep into it, because I was mostly turned off by that description and what I saw of the aesthetic.
