I was thinking about it, and I think no.

I know it's super basic, but it comes down to sex - iirc, a poster once said what helped her believe that she identified as a woman was that when she thought about having sex, she fantasized about being penetrated, and for me, it's the opposite.

like, I know sex doesn't always involve penetration, especially when it comes to same sex couples, and it gets more complicated the more you look into things, but in the basest sense, I feel like I align more with the sex I was born as, even if it's only in that capacity.

you mean, like, everything remains as close to being the same as possible, but you're a different sex?

if so, would you remember your experiences of your previous life?

if so, then I guess it's something that you can know, but if you're experiencing a new life with no memories of your old one, then idk.

This isn't a magical "push a button" scenario. I'm just asking if people would've preferred to be born another sex. Most people intuitively know whether or not they would've wanted to be born a different sex.

Gender identity is different than gender expression. Someone's gender identity can be one thing and they continue to present differently because it's inconvenient or otherwise impractical to transition, or they just don't want to transition.

Rewatching some of his old movies, there are COUNTLESS homophobic and transphobic jokes just for the sake of a cheap laugh. It's really cringy and, while I realize that it's basically just a product of the time (lots of homophobia and transphobia everywhere pre-2010), it makes me not like him as much.

So they tell everyone to poop in a toilet, but if you look throughout history, it wasn't until very VERY recently that we've been using toilets to poop in.
