* Did Democrats impeach Trump because of the insurrection? Yes. Verifiable via the actual impeachment bill that passed in the house soon after the insurrection.
* Did Democrats push for a 9/11 style bipartisan commission? Yes. Verifiable via the actual proposal Democrats in the house pushed for that Republicans voted down.
* Did Republicans down the 9/11 style bipartisan commission? Yes. Verifiable by the fact that that's exactly what they did.
* Did Democrats put together a select committee to investigate 9/11? Yes. Verifiable by the fact that the January 6th select committee has been investigating Trump's bullshit election fraud claims and the insurrection itself, and verifiable by the public hearings that are going on.
* Has the January 6th committee made multiple criminal referrals to the DoJ because Trump cronies were ignoring congressional subpoenas? Yes. Verifiable by the fact that Steve Bannon was indicted. Verifiable by the fact that Peter Navarro was arrested. Verifiable by the fact that multiple other actual criminal referrals were made.

One can easily say "most Americans care about January 6th, and I know it's the truth because I understand most Americans" to counter your statements, and it'd be worth just as much as your claims.

All that work and it still doesn't change that your average person won't even remember what they were doing on Jan 6th 2021.

I don't think your average person will be able to articulate that. Doesn't have the same ring as "The president was shot." "Planes hit the twin towers" "Japan bombed Pearl Harbor". And the imagery was strong, but not nearly as strong and simple as those other events. At least not enough to stick in peoples minds to the same level. There were the shots of the crowd and the Q shaman, but really crowds and riots are dime a dozen in 2020s America.

Ask your average person who was over the age of 5 on 9/11 where they were 21 years ago. They'll likely have an answer and a specific memory, I know all of us do.

Ask those same people where they were and what they were doing January 6th 2021 when they heard about the riots. See if they have a specific story the same way.

The best way to get back is to not do any kind of confrontation, big freakout, or even explanation. End it, don't ask her anything, and don't explain anything. If she asks why, don't even bring up the cheating. Just say you aren't feeling it. Don't give her any further explanation.

Don't listen to anyone in this topic suggesting a confrontation or asking for an explanation. You already know the truth, it's not worth it, and it will only give her a chance to come out on top in her mind. Don't give her that chance. The people telling you to just drop it with no explanation, that is the right path.

If you confront her with the cheating, she's just going to come back at you with everything you supposedly did wrong as if that justifies what she did. Don't even get into that mess, don't confront her. I know you said you were mad and up all night about it, but I'm serious, you can't let her know that, and if you confront her that's what is going to happen.

And do it fast cause she's definitely on track to dump you soon. If you want to drive her crazy, dump her with no explanation. It's what would be best for your mental health and also the worst thing you could do to her in retort. Don't get into the mess of a confrontation.
