I didn't even remember an Ys title coming to the Genesis! It did come to multiple different consoles and devices so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people got the chance to play it, Genesis or not.

I'm not the biggest fan of the series, it's just not one I really got into. I think I played one on the PS2 at some point? I remember being annoyed with the crafting system in whichever game it was and how unintuitive it was. I thing? LOL

We've had so many votes so far so might close it out later today and start a new one already.

I think it is stronger than the 2nd, but not as good as the first.

I give them credit for not putting Gamora and Starlord together, nor him with Nebula. They also didn't shy away from animal abuse given what HE was doing.

I wasn't the biggest fan of what they did with Adam Warlock, making him kinda a powerful dolt. I wish they would have done more work in like comparing him to HE's creations. Like... both HE and his own creations were making the same mistake and it could have been a really intriguing element to explore. Instead you have one scene of Adam Warlock with HE and then nothing beyond some allegories if you squint real hard.

Both the DC and GC versions sold exceptionally poorly, so probably never, unfortunately.

EDIT: Like, to put it into perspective, Jet Set Radio, which was incredibly niche, sold 1 million overall over its entire life, whereas Skies of Arcadia, a game in the fairly safe genre of JRPG, barely broke 300k.

A Baten Kaitos remaster is being done... I can't imagine that sold MUCH better than Skies.

I LOVED this game growing up. The OST was amazing, the gameplay was fun, but my god that one part where you had to fucking RESET the game in order to complete the level? Like, without really any prompting to do-so? The fuck is that? It was also just hard as hell in general. It was designed to be tough, to make you work for it, sometimes unfairly.

Also, Wolverine is listed as above average intelligence while Cyclops, Nightcrawler, and Gambit are all listed as normal intelligence. That kinda makes me smirk cause yeah... Wolverine definitely the most intelligent out of that crew. >_>

Walk to Remember was a great one for sure. Maybe partly because I love Mandy Moore.

Not a lot of options for X, but I know 100% what I'm picking for it. LOL

I was training a new employee today at work and while we were out and about I ran into a longer tenured employee that works casually. He hadn't seen me since my wife passed so he wanted to talk with me and express his condolences and whatnot.

The new employee was curious and so as we were continuing training and working together we spoke about what happened. It's maybe one of the first times I have explained it to a stranger? Like, I sent an e-mail to everyone in the organization when my wife passed (since I was going to be gone for awhile and that is unlike me, I knew there would be talk so I wanted to control the narrative) and all my family and friends know. I haven't spoken in-depth about it with anyone else.

It was nice. He was very respectful and asked thoughtful questions, expressed his condolences, asked me about her and what was the health concerns. I think it's a good sign that I can have that conversation with a relative stranger and it not make me break down or unable to continue talking.

As juvenile as it is, every little movement forward makes me very proud of myself.

It's not really an impulse buy if you are thinking it over like this.

I have a massage booked for Sunday. Saturday I might head out to the movies to see the new TMNT.

I think it it was in the trailers but I'll spoil tag it anyways AllI know about Vivi is that he thinks he was mass produced and thus is trying to find his own identity. That and I guess the final boss comes outta nowhere.

What I know of FFIX though is that it did some cool like meanwhile segments you could play and once you got out of that early kingdom it opened up more.

FF9 is top tier, with FF6 and 10, in my opinion. FF9 features a lot of characters dealing with mortality, death, and the idea of what is life. It's actually a great example of characters being written to reflect on their place in the world, learn from traveling together and experiencing life, and coming to new values and beliefs based on their experiences.

It's wonderful.

I don't think anything is cheaper and I don't believe items are restricted.

It's more useful if you are buying for a business or an organization rather than for yourself.

I know X was a pretty big deal when it came out, but I was just kinda over Final Fantasy at the time. It had some great music as I found out, but other than that eh. I only the PS3 remaster for a few hours.

I am surprised Vivi made the finals. I honestly don't know much about him besides he looks the classic black mage and some other small things. FFIX is one of those games I really should try and play more, but the beginning is so drab. I am getting too sidetracked so uhh yeah.

I popped this up on my Facebook because I know people are worried about me.

One month check in because I know you all love me and care/worry.

I'm doing alright, most days better than I would have anticipated. Work is great, hanging out with family more, having some friends over and whatnot. I've decided to focus on my physical health and try to show my physical self some love. I think I'm very patient and kind to myself in a lot of ways, but neglected my physical health for a long time. Going to the gym, walks outside, eating better... really going to try and focus on that.

Something only a select few would know about me is that in my entire life I've only lived alone maybe for like... 7 months now? 6 months or so before Lindsay moved in with me, and now this first month after she passed. 39 years of my life and only 7 months have I lived them solo.

I'm a social person by nature and I've been blessed to share my home with family and then with Lindsay, my chosen family, for over 11 years. Even when I was a child I just "felt better" sharing the space with someone I love, even if we are doing two entirely different things. I've always been excited to share in experiences together with those I love.

I'm still adjusting to this new life. Some nights are tough but it gets a little more normal every day. There is an energy to a shared home that obviously isn't there anymore and I do miss it like crazy. The best elements of Lindsay are part of me now forever, so in that way she isn't gone, she's just given me all the best things about herself.

I have more good days than bad. I'm still pretty much the most positive person in basically every room I walk into, and I'm really excited for the next phase of my life.

Yeah, making it just a regular part of the day is the biggest part of doing it.

I'm a HUGE Wonderboy fan, but I kinda find it interesting that I think this looks objectively worse (just in pure graphical terms) than Wonderboy 3 on the Master System. And I tend to like the gameplay better in WB3... but I still love basically all things Wonderboy.
