My first GF cheated on me. I'm naturally a giving person and she loved being doted on. We were a bad combination. We loved each other greatly but as it was also long distance in our late teens, didn't work out. I love her in the way you love your friends and want nothing but happiness and health for them.

My second GF and I were exceptionally great friends and it bloomed into a relationship. It ended when she moved to England for a year and we were not in a position to try long distance. We are still great friends to this day. She has a couple kids and was married, now with someone else. Absolutely I love her, we were great friends before we ever had a relationship.

Had a fling with someone who was far too immature for me. They told me a couple years later after they moved that they transitioned and were now going by the name Lucas. They apologized for even entering into a relationship with me and that they were going through the motions because they felt that "Girls are supposed to like guys, and you were the best guy I knew" I love the dude and wish we could reconnect as I want to know the real him, ya know? Lost touch after the fling.

I have no issue with anyone wanting to feel they are beautiful.

My issue comes down to bullshit that they say ABOUT being beautiful. Also all the photo editing and in general that the opportunities for her to be beautiful are so outlandishly out of scope for most of humanity and she has, on multiple occasions, basically said that everyone can do it and if they don't they're just lazy.

Could you be more out of touch with reality?

I kinda love how Fargo is like, "We humans kinda fucked everything up. Dragons aren't around, the sea is all fucked. WTF guys?!"

Then as the revelations of what El Nido actually IS kinda hits it makes those words mean way more.

I really love how the dragons are kinda hinted at their importance and power but are just not really "around" right now. Except the Black Dragon which is curiously just snoozing.

Anyways, onto Fargo and the "Ghost Ship". It's intriguing how the game kinda quickly has you encountering Lynx and everyone is like, "Dude is fucked up. Seriously. I don't get why General Viper is helping him at all. Dude is a psycho and I hate him but he's strong so don't fuck with him"

There is a huge difference in stats and how useful their special abilities are.

Magic is honestly NOT all that important with exception to a few fights, so you CAN just go pure melee DPS if you want.

Luccia has also joined the party. She is REALLY COOL but seems like from a pure gameplay level she is kinda low tier.

Glenn and Macha just joined the group! Macha is immediately more cool than Korcha. XD

anyway, Dalton was fallen into time rift and plotting revenge. this is a common trope where the villain gain powers after being banished.
especially in the time rift, he would have all the time needed.

I don't know if Guardia is ever seen as a super power or anything. You would assume with the tech advantage of Luca maybe that would help? But she also didn't seem to GAF about helping out the kingdom, just people.

CTDS came out years after Cross and tried to, rather poorly, tie the two together more. Considering Cross never once mentions Dalton, even in the remaster, I believe its canon status is questionable (CTDS' extras, I mean). It IS pretty stupid that we're supposed to believe someone like him could raise an entire army and overthrow Guardia.

I felt like that was the devs trying to tie it in more. You don't really have to, Porre raising an army in 20 years is not like it would be impossible.

Why are the reviews on Steam so bad? I actually enjoy CC as well, and was going to get the Steam version, but it's, "Mixed," which is never a good sign for a Steam game

The Remaster is not what people wanted it to be. Beyond a bit of a visual facelift and the ability to speed up or slow down gameplay, it adds nothing to the experience. Kinda a lazy remaster.

Nah, it shits on all the characters other than Ayla and Glenn. Sequels that make the events of the prequel pointless are the worst. If you're going to drag the characters back into conflict, then they at least need another happy ending instead of being killed or displaced.

It's a sequel to one potential timeline. That's kinda the whole point... what happens when you fuck with time and cause paradoxes? If you have a time machine what is stopping you from literally changing everything to the conclusion you want? What if space and time doesn't know how to rectify the paradoxes these actions create?

It's so fucking good.

It is 100% a sequel. It deals with the direct consequences of the actions of the first game, at least for ONE of the potential endings.

How long did it take you to get through Radical Dreamers?

I got the Chrono Cross Remaster at launch and played through CC but haven't tried Radical Dreamers yet.

I used a guide so about 2 hours or so.

I am a huge Chrono Cross fan and not just on its own merit, but also as a successor to Chrono Trigger.

Played Radical Dreamers for the first time last night and that was a lot of fun. Seeing how THAT was a sequel to Chrono Trigger was super neat.

I'm into Viper's Manor on this playthru. Love the combat engine and the way the magic system works. I also really appreciate how to start off the game you really have no idea how this will weave into Chrono Trigger beyond Porre being mentioned. I love that CC is more focused on the ramifications of time travel and the creation of paradoxes and how time and space would warp to account for these paradoxes. It is REALLY ambitious and while some people don't like it, I fucking LOVE it.
