I can speak highly of VtM, and also of the various wesp patches if you want to mod it a little to make some stuff less ballbusty (the sewers...) or add a couple of extra missions.

Just a heads up that, while most of the game can be done with bare minimum combat, it will kneecap you in the final act if you dont have a major investment in at least one combat discipline by the endgame.

I hate Watcher, get regularly screwed on Defect, and am too smooth brained to not overkill the berserker aspect of Ironclad. Silent wins it.

I dont care if Aron is friend-shaped, Gen 5 takes this for me. I unironically love the doofus Poke that is "literally a set of gears." About the only one I dont care about from gen 5 is Cobalion, and that's apathy, not disdain.

Rock is difficult. It's played up as this friggin monstrously defensive type and yet it has stupid amounts of weaknesses and its attacking type, while great, has shit accuracy and IIRC almost nothing on the special end. Seriously, "dumb as rocks" for the whole type.

Gen 2 for me (and I voted gen 3 during Psychic round too)

It speaks a lot about the Neutral themes in LobCorp when they're what you hear most normal days without emergencies and it never gets old. Glad you enjoyed it.

Similarly, the context for Blank Fairy elevates it, because it occurs in the game right after the big reveal near the end of the game. It also has a boss remix of sorts slightly later, but I like the weaponized dread Yamaoka hit us with.

I ate a ~$120 cupcake before, but it was the result of an auction where the buyer of the $2000 tray turned around and donated it back to our boss, who distributed it among the staff. Standard fare stuff.

Most expensive meal I ever had was for someone I was REALLY trying to impress, a $45 pasta dish with comparitively non-pricy $10 glasses of mid. It was really good but I'm not a fan of "business suit is underdressed" dining.

Edit: this was in the late 00s, so it's probably $25 more now, minimum.

2 only got better with the remasters, and was important for history - AND it did the "world is nuked" way before 6 did. 3 has a job system and is already better than 75% of others by default, terrible final dungeon notwithstanding (plus it attempted to be lighthearted after the extreme bleakness.

2 is second worst, but 6 hits all the wrong buttons for me. You could delete half of the party and not suffer from a narrative perspective. Encounters seldom stray from the "just hold fight / avoid the counterattack / gimmick boss" formula.

I told myself when this started that I'd go for this for gen 7 for poison because I was thinking just how much I loved A-Muk and Toxapex. The ultras are a big whatever usually, but kudos to Nihilego for being a weirdo hat.

I hate that I'm alone in liking it the least out of the entire classic (before X) series. Kefka was a good villain but I didnt like much more of anything that was going on in it.
