The cultural war isnt made up. History has always been progression vs regression.

Its very cyclical. A system is created. The system benefits those who create it. A new generation comes who the system doesnt benefit. The original generation doesnt want the system changed despite the times calling for change. A clash is created. Then eventually it progresses and benefits the people that created the change to the system thus creating a new system.

I feel bad for her. She's obviously mentally ill but it was caused by her being pushed into fame by her parents and shit. Then they control her later in life.

It's good she got off of it but bad she just jumped into a situation with another person taking advantage of her. She's still not getting the help she needs.

Leno retired, Conan took over. Ratings dipped as expected for a new host, Leno regretted retiring and used that to worm his way back in. NBC also severely neutered Conan's brand of comedy for the 11pm show, so by the end he was probably sick of it all anyway.

His ratings were actually strong until the new Leno show debuted. Then Lenos ratings stunk which meant no one stayed around for the news and then no one watching the Tonight Show.

Well Conan just got old and tired of doing that show. His podcast is still amazing.

i was just feeling run down but there arent a lot of symptoms and if you do get symptoms you'll know.

Some people dont feel much at all. Just feels like youre getting a cold. I might not even have it though. It's a maybe but from whatever urgent care saw in the bloodtest its a big maybe. I gotta go take a bloodtest and get a history of A1C to see if i have it.

No, not really. During the pandemic though i was eating a lot of take out. I had a lot going on in life where i was eating more takeout and some family stuff was hitting me with stress and depression. Less gym and cooking for myself made for a bad time. Plus it being a genetic risk doesnt help. I have a friend who eats like shit and is 400 pounds and still is somehow not diabetic. Where i weigh a little more than half that and am.

People in my family dont take it seriously either which is weird. I think its a wake up call to get my health back on track.

Blood sugar levels aren't used to diagnose diabetes, A1C is the indicator. It's normal for people to shoot up to ~175 after eating a carb heavy meal and dessert.

Yeah, thats the next step. I have to go get an A1C test and see how its been overtime.

Ive been feeling kinda run down and sick recently. Went to an urgent care and they told me my blood sugar was high. I have to go back on the 9th for more tests but diabetes runs in my family and i gained weight in the pandemic.

I'm taking a bunch of these down, I work an overnight shift and read a ton so i'm always looking for new stuff. Will get back to Saga tonight, gonna get through at least Vol 3.

I'm also gonna eventually try Invincible and The Walking Dead, heard a lot of positive stuff about those. I like really odd, strange, unique, which is why I think i'm digging Saga so much. Marvel had a run called Weirdworld that was very different also that I loved, about Arkon and his journey to find Polemachus, Del Mundo did the art for it, his stuff is pretty incredible.

Ay, thanks, seen that now after reading more tonight. On chapter 10 of volume 2, it's really easy to read, each character hits so far. Probably gonna be in this for the long haul.
