They did make the game a LOT more playable than the GB release though, seeing as you can use the sword/shield/power bracelet/boots all at the same time on top of your selected items. To be fair pretty much all Yoshi games are easy. Most of the challenge in any Yoshi game comes from getting 100% rather than just beating the levels like finding all the hidden flowers/etc. The hidden object "I Spy" type shit gets a bit tedious though, definitely would've been better if you were just given the whole list of items in each world to find rather than being forced to find them one at a time. There's also various extra challenges (time trial/etc) unlocked after The game is still pretty fun though even if it is easy, though it isn't really play itself easy unless you literally turn on easy mode... or was that only a thing in Wooly World... can't remember. --- Tah-rah-rah-boom-dee-aaay, did you get yours todaaay? There are no cutaway gags and the episodes are far more plot focused and you are also rewarded for paying attention as the show sprinkles in tons of long-term gags throughout the seasons. It starts off a bit rough but I'd say by season 3 it's in full gear and consistently pretty fucking good. Unlike Family Guy, while there is animosity between the main cast what differentiates it is the fact it's dysfunction and not hatred, it's a more solid family unit even if everyone is driven by selfish desires and needs. It also has better side characters and it's edgyness is usually played for laughs than shock as it can get pretty gory. Stan being a CIA agent also puts him in far more interesting scenarios than Peter could ever get into. | I is smart 04/03/21 8:07:27 AM #22 | 1 was fun outside of the stick/palm destruction. 2 was a straight upgrade. 3 went further and also had more maps than any MP since, on top of the best items (seriously bring back the damn reverse shrooms) and Duel Mode was awesome. 4's item selection was bland as hell and the maps sucked, WAY too much RNG fuckery that meant you didn't get to pick the direction you went. 5 was fun but some of the items were ambiguous as hell as to how you were meant to use them (admit it, you all hammer bro'd yourselves thinking it let you pick a target). Also tank battle minigame was awesome. 6 fixed the items but started the downfall of the series as far as the maps go. Every map having a completely different method of play is a novel idea, but FUCK I hate having only ONE option for standard play in the later games. Microphone shit was amusing, especially shouting gibberish and leaving friends with no clue what attack you just triggered. 7 and 8 were alright but again, fuck the different gimmick every map shit. Jerking off minigames made for some funny meme shit at least. 9 and 10... meh... Super was... okay with friends... maps are garbage, tiny as hell with not a lot going on. That or call in a carpet bomb and try to ride the "wave". I also liked lining the street near the Russian's chop shop with C4 in a way that would lead them off the road and into the nearby water (NPCs freak out and try to avoid them). I also discovered that guardrails are incredibly volatile and will explode along their whole length when destroyed, like you blow up C4 on one end and something sitting at the other end of the section well outside of the C4's radius will blow up. Speaking of C4, placing 8 of them down in the same spot (assuming your character is standing where they don't slide slightly while placing it) will cause them to freak out and start spinning around like a tornado for a second or two before getting scattered to the winds, usually out of range where you can't blow them up and despawn. --- Tah-rah-rah-boom-dee-aaay, did you get yours todaaay?
