8. Grace

Was created as an excuse to let the author explore his fetishes. Hasn't had a really good interesting conflict. The most recent big story arc was some of the only characterization of her we got. Good at some points, but overall is kind of bland.


7. Sarah

Gets points for having relationship conflicts with Elliot. She'd be better if anything actually happened to her.


6. Susan

She has been getting somewhere. A lot of build up is going on concerning her, and I could see her jumping ranks soonish.


5. Tedd

Author stand-in. Has had some nice development lately, but still isn't anything too spectacular. That said, he's important, and will hopefully eventually lead to the biggest conflict in the whole series (Lord Tedd). His name is spelled stupidly, and even though he's the point of origin for all the weird fetish stuff in the comic, he gets credit for all of that stuff that has been done well.


4. Nanase

Her whole coming out arc was resolved very poorly. While a lot of her coming to terms and stuff was done well, the conflict between her and her mother just disappeared. Now that we know her mom is into more crap, it could pave the way for some exciting things, but eh. We'll see.


3. Justin

One of the most conflicted characters. He doesn't have Grace's power, Tedd/Grace/Sarah/Elliot/Nanase/Ellen's ease of relationship... he was pretty much just 'that guy' when introduced, and has been getting more fleshed out since.


2. Ellen

Her whole character concept is great, and a lot of her early characterization was. The only problem is that she doesn't have as many faults as she should. Maybe I'm not giving her conflicts enough credit, but she just isn't as strong as she could be.


1. Elliot

Elliot wins the ranking for having everything the other characters do/don't. He has varying degrees of power (needs to be fleshed out more), relationship conflict, good round characterization, ample story-dedication, etc... he is the one character I feel the cast could not lose. Maybe Tedd fits here too.

Elliot > Ellen > Justin > Nanase > Tedd > Susan > Sarah > Grace

You know for having an active imagination I don't imagine people on the internet at all before I see a picture. I just read names and store it in my head from there.

If you were just alive and throwing lagging crap out your team probably cleans up all those fights.

Yeah, in the latter half of the game, I really just let my attention wander and didn't pay attention to the enemy team's aliveness or the mini-map much.
