I knew elderly folks who lived through Japan occupied Philippines. They had ww2 stories.

The people were divided. RICH and middle class Families made deals with Japanese representatives to keep their land and people safe. They even had Japanese filipino Pesos.

Those who didnt have that luxury to deal with Japanese forces had living conditions where Japanese soldiers used the beds filipinos slept on as toilets.

Atlantis with all its tech & magic and sheer numbers vs black suit Superman? What we know is the knowledge is power.

Superman vs military. Pretty stand up fight although i always thought he holds back considerably. Military tech seem to delay the inevitable. If kryptonite and his compassion for human life was well known to be the weakness, military will use it against him.

Atlantis vs military technology. Heres where it gets interesting. Atlantis is magical. They have magic and artifacts of an ancient world thats been developed for CENTURIES. Theres nothing that rivals what theyve done to fuse magic and technology. In a war of ocean no heroes vs land no heroes?? Atlantis wins. It was moving that way in the movie if Aquaman wasnt around. The thing is though the land had its heroes vs an Atlantis that might have went guns ablazin first than recon and intel about earths heroes...hmm.

We havent seen what magic vs movie superman could do yet though. So i hope that happens some time in the next few years.

Atlantis vs Black suit superman. Lets say the terrforming of earth to krypton changed the oceans first and krytonite deposits from it have been washing into shores. If Atlanteans know krytonite can be made to weapons specifically for dealing with black suit superman, theyll create magic infused kryptonite weapons that will kill him.

Despite Superman being the all powerful ever present hero of earth and champion of humanity, he is still one uno reverse card in a game with others and the wild draw 4 card.

I loved xwing alliance back in the day. I was all about space sims back then. The story was cool too. Blended in well with cameos from other xwing games and movies.

Like to this day, i wait for xwa refences in star wars haha.

Its dated though as the others but the xwau mod package is still being worked on after all these decades. Always meant to fire up xwa then grab my old ms sidewinder and just get lost doing missions, doing cargo runs, and jumping to the next nav buoy cause warships are on the chase.

Nice is depends on the the women that compliment it.

I thought being nice is a good thing. A pleasant way to keep the relationship open. The interest is there but there is reservation of not enough data to make an informative decision. Its usually an opportunity to get to know each other better, if the interest is there.

Hmm seems nice lost its meaning these days. Id say generally its still considered a compliment.

Spoilers. The infinite stones are always on. Theres no activating them. See how each stones were before they were collected. Theres no deactivating the power each stone have. Safe to say, the initial power up of wielding the infinity gauntlet shows us a surge of cosmic power. In that surge we can imagine and deduce in that moment was an infinite window of possibilities happening from the power cosmic destroying the person, the planet, solar system, galaxy, etc. Also the potential of infinite possibilities of the snap - its successes and failures. Possibly the infinite uncontrollable potential of possibilities such as humans not being able to control such power and the gauntlet "acting" on a subconscious level.

But tbh, the snap was a way to accentuate the act of using all the stones.

Yep read this the other day...
She was midnight skinny dipping and got swept out to sea. She was in the ocean for over 12hrs and water was under 70 degress temperature. She didnt have enough strength to yell or wave too much.

I thought the dolphins were keeping her afloat above the water lol. They actually led the boat to her.

Lucky.
New boat. New owner just finished boat safety and took his friends out.

Dolphins got the attention of the new captain. The boat followed then 3 miles out.

He didnt realize what he was seeing like a couple blocks away. As he got closer, he realized it was a person.

They made two passes to get near her. New owner has fresh training to do certain things so the person in water dont get hurt. 1st time they threw a floatation thing. They had to make another pass becaiss she was too weak to reach it. pulled her up the 2nd time with rope and they got as close they can. They like hooked under her arms with something to get her unto the boat. She was too weak.

The swimmer spent 3 days in the hospital.
