Louis Letrush is stuck halfway into the ground outside of Whiterun for me. Though apparently this is a common glitch. At first I thought he was some kind of weird half-man. Then another him spawned right next to him.

Legless pilots can handle more Gs than their legged bretherin. When gravity forces blood from the brain to lower extremities, it causes the pilot to black out. But if you have no legs to force blood to, more blood can stay in the brain, and it's easier for the heart to pump blood back to the brain.

Their legs were probably voluntarily amputated as these are all trained pilots. Their futuristic society allows for prosthetics that allows them to walk and run normally so there's no loss in performing these amputations.

Yeah, but that's pretty standard marketing talk for a new game. Look at Pokemon Platinum's press release:

Yeah, I think people are jumping the gun here. I wouldn't be that surprised if the "2" was just part of a dumb name for specialized extra versions.

A direct sequel would be awesome, but no real information about the games are available yet, so people are just believing what they want to believe.

I guess it's possible to hold your arm in that way so that you couldn't see it head on, but you'd have to be going out of your to do so, and it doesn't seem very comfortable.

I can understand how not seeing your character can feel a bit shallow, but it's hard to actually feel like it makes much a difference.

The funny thing is, the 2D games actually have really impressive battle graphics when you take into account the monster animations in the later games and remakes.

I specifically remember games on the NES where pressing select would move the cursor on the main menu, and the control pad didn't. Like Dr. Mario.

That's just blatantly trying to make the Select button seem worthwhile.


I think it was the opposite. Like, the only reason the Select button existed was because someone thought that there needed to be a button solely for selecting options for some reason, but everybody preferred using the control pad.

I wonder what's the most recent game that actually uses the Select button to select something.

I don't get Bark over Fryish. Bark was really the cheap ripoff of Fryish. The sad ending came out of nowhere for no good reason, unlike Fryish where the ending was fantastic and capped off the plot perfectly.

It's not like I have anything against the episode, but seriously, Fryish is so much better.

I thought those guys were okay on MadTV, but their show seems pretty good. It's easy to see that Comedy Central really wants a new Chappelle's Show, with the "introduce the sketch to the audience" bits, but their chemistry is so good that it works out great anyway. A lot of times the sketches end up working just because of how well those two work together.

Anyone else check it out?

Fire Red/Leaf Green weren't very good.

I'm eager to see how Gen 3 remakes would be.
But I want Pokemon Gray immediately.


Yeah, pretty agree with this.

FR/LG wasn't really that great. It was cool to have a remake, but they didn't really add a lot to the original games, and it felt kind of shallow compared to Ruby and Sapphire. HG/SS did the right thing by expanding the original games it was based while incorporating a lot of features that were already in DPP. If the RSE remakes follow that trend, they'll be amazing.

Too me a long enough. I never had good Double Battle synergy, but I eventually hunkered down and put together a Trick Room team just for the subway. After several iterations, I beat the Subway Boss. Now I'm satisfied, and my Trainer Card is now silver. Yay.
