yeah i don't see how a person can avoid using shampoo, or soap. Conditioner i don't know. I mean, what did humans even do before shampoo and soap? must not have been very effective, showering....

I think when they are combined like that, the conditioner is only like 5% effective compared to doing it separately.

is this 5 percent based on actual studies that have been done?

there are a few upscale brands that have decent products that are 2 in 1. But yes, as the products fundamentally serve different purposes that generally require separate wash cycles

Didn't they not even have this like 20 yrs ago or so? not sure. But having both in one bottle does make it more convenient. Some even have body wash with both of them. , all together. You think these all in one's are usually , work just as well as the single ones?

every year we go and there are always several down. Used to be the dragster was always broken.

My ride is never down though. I just like to sleep on the train while my gf and baby mama hang out with the kids.

You're a cedar point fan? which is your ride? Dragster was terrible at cedar point with breakdowns. They got rid of it. That might be the only ride at cedar point that caused so much trouble with break downs

Ive been on a ton of cruises over the years. Yes they have internet. Its a very different type of vacation. Its nice to wake up somewhere new every day and go out to explore, but you do only get a small taste of each location because youre only there for part of a day before the ship leaves again. I also never liked the days at sea with no stops.

Theres definitely a lot of eating and drinking. Each ship typically has a main dining room where you have an assigned time slot for dinner, but also a buffet and multiple other smaller themed restaurants that are a mix of free vs additional $.

They can seem expensive at first, but they can actually be very cheap when you consider that it is basically a room, food, and entertainment all in one upfront cost. I recommend going with a group of friends, and get a room with a balcony - it makes a big difference.

how long do they let you walk around at most stops, a couple hours? Is most of the buffet food pretty cheap? no lobster prob ever

most are constantly broken? prob most new state of the art coasters are not constantly broken. Most at cedar point aren't at least.

I've tried to give it another shot at various points throughout the years but I always turn it off near that part. It does have a great cast and it is well shot though. Maybe I should just skip to like 20 minutes in next time.

yeah the ending is kinda strong now that i think about it. Most movies maybe the first half is better

The cheapest "season pass" is 100 bucks, and that only covers the summer. No Holoweekends or any of that.

If you want the season pass WITH the fast pass, its over 1k.

Don't most huge new roller coasters cost like 40 mil.? that's what wikepedia says. They have to recoup costs. And most of those theme park workers are paid very little

That's right i have heard that criticism of alien 3 before. Did you like the movie? 3rd best alien movie in your opinion? Iirc fincher said he didn't really like the movie that released but he liked the directors cut much much more.

Only been on one so far, a five day to the Bahamas with Carnival. Iirc 4 different ports. It was fun seeing different islands each day, and there was wildly expensive internet available, but when I'm on a trip I prefer to engage in it/the experience so I don't remember wanting to be online in the first place.

Was your bahamas cruise in the summer or winter? maybe most go in the summer, even in the bahamas area. Though it would make sense to go in winter

yeah maybe all major cruises dock on some island or something and let you walk around. Have heard before about some stupid customers who don't get back on time and the ship leaves without them, though

Probably not. And while I don't want to sound harsh, it ain't cheap to go to amusement parks or sporting events, so I'm always a little curious as to how there are always so many Trashy people in the parks. Same with county fairs. That shit is expensive.

yeah good pt. it ain't cheap. Like at nfl games....etc.... but you always hear about fans fighting in the stands , may be happens much more often than fights at cedar point and six flags....

I've never been but would be interested in trying it out. From what I understand it's a lot of eating, drinking, and lounging around which sounds nice.

I'm worried I wouldn't do as well with having to completely disconnect from the internet, though.

Unfortunately it's tough to work it into my schedule. I'm far from family so if I'm going to get a week or more off, I feel obligated to go spend it with them.

don't most cruise ships have good internet access? first i've heard of that huge problem......

yeah it may be true. Possibly disney customers usually better than six flags usually , cedar point is ok from what i've seen. Heard that magic mountain is kinda bad, have never been. Is it really any worse than most customers at a big baseball or football game, trashiness etc....?

Iirc most of em have many buffets. It is mostly all you can eat

Cedar Fair runs Cedar Point, Kings Island, Canada's Wonderland, Kings Dominion, and several other parks.

I wonder if this merger will mean selling off smaller parks in the chain. Hopefully, operations of all parks will improve. Some Six Flags parks need some TLC.

yeah supposedly attendance is way way down at most major parks. pre pandemic they were doing good iirc

yeah i just watched both endings on youtube. I do kinda prefer the kiss ending. Prob prefer the lester version. But didn't lester direct both 3 and 4, both sucked. Iirc like 90 perc. of superman 2 had already been shot before lester took over, due to a money dispute? don't remember.
