Also CE would have to come together as a community from thousands of miles apart. Good luck getting people to agree on where to go (or how to get there...many of CE just aren't equipped mentally or physically to make a journey of that magnitude) in the time before internet shuts off. Then we have food issues. Does anyone here really know how to grow a crop or raise animals? I know the basics, but not enough to get a community off the ground that's for sure. That's not discounting the personality conflicts that we'd have, although after losing everyone I'm sure many of us could put aside petty internet differences tbh. Also without technicians to monitor them I'm pretty sure nuclear power plants are going to eventually explode, so that's a major problem. We lack a lot of medical personnel too so if someone gets injured or a disease starts up WE'RE FUCKED. --- Do good. Eat tin cans |

In the Halo universe nukes are pretty effective against the covenant ships. The Empire also puts turbolasers on everything like they are frank's red hot sauce. And if mac rounds can penetrate covenant ships, so too can turbolasers which are multitudes more powerful. So we have even the most basic ship on the imperial side being equipped with weapons that put the average armaments on the covenant capital ships to shame. Then you factor in the Star Destroyers each with armaments firing per second that will shred any of the covenant shields...and the imperials had like 25000 of those And then add in the twelve super star destroyers that the empire had in it's fleet plus the two death stars and it you are going to dig into the EU you also have a third death star, the sun crusher, the Galaxy gun, and the two eclipse star destroyers....the covenant doesn't stand a chance. The covenant has no defense against AI attacks either. The imperials don't have amazing defenses either, but a single artoo unit is going to be able to slice its way into multiple convenant ships and wreak havoc on their insides. Also the Empire's access to Hyperspace allows it to cross their galaxy in days while the covenant is largely a regional threat in it's galaxy. --- Do good. Eat tin cans |
