Fun Fact: Psychic Types still take 40 damage when hitting out of confusion, you think they'd fix that. Mewtwo just hammered itself

It was like that because confusion damage used to be considered attack damage. And since psychics are weak to psychic, the attack damage to them is doubled.

That rule was changed in the real card game forever ago.

This reminds me of a link to a site I stumbled upon once that detailed, with screenshots, many of the subdued darker elements of MM, like the scenery, things hidden in the background, etc. as well as the more obvious elements/themes. I know that sounds vague, but does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'd love to check that page out again.

Yep. It was a few years ago (2006) on a fairly large Advance Wars fansite I used to visit. It just goes to show that every fandom has psychopaths!

Thouh not helping matters is the fact that the only two people I know who really love MLP are a bit... odd. But that's anecdotal evidence so there. There are plenty of casual fans who just appreciate it normally.

As far as I know, everyone in the B8 MLP discussion thread is pretty sane, so that has to count for something.

Pretty much every sane MLP fan can tell you that the extreme end of the fandom leaves a bad taste in their mouth. It's a great show, it's created a great community, and it has a lot of potential for good (like the dozens of charities that have been started in the name of bronies). Yet that doesn't change the fact that their are fringe weirdos who attract negative attention to the entire fanbase. While this is true of any fandom or cultural movement, MLP is "the big thing" right now, so all those negative attention magnets seem... well, magnified.

Didn't watch it because I've seen similar things that make me cringe and make me ashamed to be in the same fandom as these people. Problem is that the market is a lot more fast paced now than it was in 2005/2006. With Sony hemorrhaging money and the Vita not pulling strong numbers, it might not get as long to get in stride as the PSP and PS3 did.

The Japanese market, consumer and developer, look unwilling to leave PSP behind.
