I also do it to myself sometimes. I button mash A through visual novels and expect myself to read it all. Then I inevitably need the history feature to reread the last line that I mashed A over and missed reading

Watch parties are the worst because people always talk over parts and I have to watch it again on my own after to know I didn't miss anything

(The trick is to not have friends so you don't get invited to watch parties)

it's fun how it interacts with OCD so I'll like be playing a game with Taskmaster UK on and they'll announce the Prize Task category but then whoops I was too caught up in my other activity that I didn't hear it, so I rewind the show to catch what I missed.............. and my other activity takes over and I miss it again, and this can go on with like 10 rewinds
