the idea of a book a season is completely insane, it only makes sense if you ignore the fact that the book length of the season is not uniform

this will be very bad
I think it'll work fine. Different seasons can have different episode counts. The first couple books could probably flesh out stuff that happened off screen in the books, and the later books have plenty of material to cover a whole season each.

In this scenario, you're saying the product is completely different from the label? Of course they shouldn't get the lower price, regardless of who put it there. I could see it if the label was the correct product but rang up at a different price though, then the lower price should be honored.

Universal definitely has more intense rides, if that's what you're into, but Disney just has a level of polish and immersion that can't be beat. Universal feels like you're walking around an amusement park, but Disney almost feels like another world, especially in Galaxy's Edge.

I don't think the smile left my face the entire movie. It was so fun. I think my only real complaint is that it could have been a little longer, it felt like they just moved from scene to scene super fast. I LOVED that Luigi got to join in with the Star Power-Up at the end. I always liked Luigi more than Mario, so that made me happy.

I've been wanting this for years. I think the toughest part will be casting. So many bigger name British actors were already used in the movies, and some, like Hagrid and Snape, are hard to imagine as anyone but Robbie Coltrane and Alan Rickman, respectively.

Just for fun, who are some actors that haven't been in the movies that you think would fit? I could see Cate Blanchett as McGonagall. Benedict Cumberbatch could be a good Snape, but has the same problem Rickman had, in that he's way older than the character is supposed to be.

They should get Jared Harris as Dumbledore, IMO.

I make about $70K gross and I bought a house at $230K 5 years ago with no money down, and I manage alright. So I would think with a decent down payment, you could probably swing around $500K. Hard to say though with interest rates these days, and property taxes and insurance.

Maybe the reason the Turtles are younger is because they want to establish Shredder as their "big boy" threat
He wasn't in the cast list, so I'm guessing Stockman is the main villain, with Shredder being saved for a sequel, maybe a tease at the end. But that's just my hypothesis.

Yeah, 7 can be a bit of a slog when they are just sorta aimlessly moving from location to location in search of horcruxes, but the second half of the book more than makes up for it, IMO.
Honestly, even though I like 5, I feel like it's a bigger slog on re-reads than 7 is, especially with how long it takes to even get to Hogwarts.

Which is your favorite?

Just books, not movies. Hogwarts Legacy has gotten me into a Harry Potter mood, curious what other people think.

I don't think it's a super popular pick, but mine is Half-Blood Prince. I really like the focus on Voldemort's back story, and while it doesn't feel the most action-packed, the Battle of Hogwarts is great.

As a side note, I'd say Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets are easily the weakest, but they're still enjoyable enough.

I got lucky with my dealership experience the one time I bought a car off a lot. They didn't do in-house financing, so couldn't try to sell me on that. They did offer extended warranties, but just gave me a pamphlet with the details and didn't push it at all. I also got really lucky that I just happened to buy it a few months before Covid hit, so prices were still decent.

Oh no, the average person does not.

1. I love movies
2. The theater is 2 minutes away
3. My fiance doesn't get home until 8:30 three nights a week, so I might as well fairly often

$23 a month for about 5 movies isn't bad, and I almost never get popcorn or anything.
I'm just piggybacking on this to say I'm the same way with my A-List sub. I don't think I consistently hit 5 a month, but I did last month. Usually it's 3-4. But one of the benefits for me personally is that I'm much more likely to see stuff I'm only somewhat interested in, or that I hear good things about, since I'm not paying for individual tickets. I've seen a lot of good stuff (and some not so good) that I wouldn't have bothered with otherwise.
