Incoherent writing, TV production special effects, etc. In terms of my personal enjoyment, Superman III was so boring that I actually prefer the comically bad Quest for Peace. Better an unintentional comedy with a little bit of Saturday morning cartoon action than a total snooze-fest. The good Clark Kent vs bad Superman scene in Superman 3 was good though. |

If it's contained in a single episode, it isn't really an arc. It kinda stinks that it gives the implication, intentional or otherwise, that a bigot can never change their ways and that a good person can never fall into bigotry. If you pretend that saints are always saints and sinners are always sinners, you never get a person a reason to change. But I understand not wanting to have a sexist as one of the primary cast members. It's Netflix, so they're probably banking on a 60% female audience anyway. |
