My friend Vinny(who isn't a friend any more) worked at a bank in Garden City on Long Island. Some white woman came in accusing him of stealing $2000 that she dropped "a few days ago". The manager asked her when she lost it so he can review the cameras. Once she told him, he let her know my friend was off that day. She still insisted he must have taken it. Finn was the most interesting character in TFA, but they completely squandered any potential his character had by making him the comic relief exclusively.

I already said in a previous post that Finn and Poe had legit gay couple chemistry and that would've been a great example of diversity done well.

Rose simply wasn't a good character and there was nothing that actress could do with the lines she was given. A big part of her arc was the casino planet which was just terrible. Her whole speech where she explained the horrors of child slavery to Finn was pretty weird considering he had been a slave his entire life up until a few days ago.

Rose could have been any type of person or actress and it wouldn't have saved that character. Just poorly written was all it was.

Not going any deeper than this, because ST and TLJ discussions have been done to death and anyone who isn't aware of various talking points just hasn't kept up and I'm not going to catch you up.

The problem with the non whites in SW is they're written so badly(by whites, just to fill a quota) that they harm the films and as a real black person, I'd rather they not even be there. John Boyega's whole presence in thos films is actually almost painful in real life. I was not happy that the "box" was checked, I was actually worried about exactly what they did with him. The films in general are awful, but they're worse with major arcs revolving around these even more awfully written characters.

My role model was my father and brother, I don't need to see buffoons and not fully human, terrible "representations" in movies. And for those who didn't have a dad, this kind of shit is not actually a better alternative to "nothing". It can be worse.

Yeah I didnt incorporate any video in my samples, I was too exhausted. But the video you mentioned (or at least a similar one) was included in the stock art.

Whats funny is all those tests are created via the exact same program. Something called Articulate. So thats why they all kinda look/feel similar, no matter the subject matter. And all the stock art is super cringe.

I use to support the Articulate 360 suute at my previous job. Piece of ahit software.

• Gun owners do not really lock up their guns. In any case, this was HIS GUN. His father just acted as the buyer since it was not legal for him to do it. He didn't steal a gun and it is hard to prove neglegence on the parents part. If you have a son who is a teen you will definitely teach him to shoot and let them know how to access the gun, as he may need to defend his house, himself or his family with it.
• Cops in schools do not help much. Number one, they hide/run from school shooters themselves. Also, they tend to be bullies and enforce Karen level policy like beating up kids who take two milks or owe lunch debt, and chioking out kids who talk back to administrators. I grew up in Queens, Ny and worked in the Hempstead School District(real life version of the war zone schools from movies like Dangerous Minds). The cops did nothing and don't care. We had legit gang wars, cops just called the local PD and hid behind locked doors. They do not even break up fights. Also, the schools where these shootings happen most are usually either mostly or slight majority white, and completely devoid of any conversation about stationing police there....so how does this talking point and blaming liberals/BLM do anything? Factually, one of the only schools where these things happen that had an actual cop was stationed at, the guy HID until the shooting stopped and the local PD moved in.

The circumstances here are unusual so all of your opinions on the responsibility of parents and school are worthless. The school and his parents are both criminally liable for his crime. There is no grey area here at all, nothing to discuss or consider. They knew what he planned to do for sure and the parents joked about it and actually empowered/enabled it by getting him the weapon. The school did not remove, suspend or discipline him despite communicating these threats, and there have been measures in place for this sort of thing for years now in every school.

School took no action, parents were literally accessories, they may as well have joined him in the actual shooting.

Yea, he had been threatening to kill other students for a while and it was known to his parents and the school. This was the entire purpose of their meeting the morning of the shootying. After reperated threats to kill his peerrs, they actually gave him a gun....

I dont feel my statement is refuted - the quote is not saying black people are murderous, its that they are the most murderous by rate. I fully agree with you that shes being incendiary and just saying it to get people all riled up, but she specifically did say the word "rate" in her statement.
