The is a joke saying that the only consistency with the mods is their inconsistency. Double jeopardy also exists. It is possible to get hit twice for the same violation if enough people complain about something.

There are definitely factions here, although I wouldn't say the mods favor one or another.

That said the squeaky wheel does get the grease here. If enough people complain, something will happen. Also people can't take another opinion here, so I wouldn't be surprised that a ton of marks happen simply because the marker disagreed with the post in question rather than it being a violation.

While I knew this would happen, I didnt think this persons post would still be up afterwards. I cannot stand double standards, as they promote hostility between two groups and produce extremists like you see on incels boards or politically correct anti-male media. The latter I have begun to see appear IRL especially in grad school, and I find it alienating and hurtful.

Nevertheless this same issue is now on gamefaqs, and it didn't used to be this way. I don't know how people became so partisan in all things you can have an opinion on.

The only place I can have real discussions is among close friends of whom I suspect of themselves tending some bigoted beliefs themselves. But it is at least the diversity within these friend groups that allows discussion and genuine points to be made, opinions to change.

Current events always had trolls, but the moderators dealt with them. They never went away (I'm still here) but now the moderators themselves are morally degenerate. Watching Admiral get banned was amusing because the dude wasn't always crazy. He was legit a cool dude at one point and somehow became radicalized. Possibly from seeing double standards.

I think a lot of people voted for Trump, personally, because they are sick of double standards. In the end, actions like moderation just push people towards hostility and extreme beliefs

Personally I will be staying away from all that, but also from this website. This placed used to be cool, and while this long post completely lacks the emotional context necessary to empathize with -therefore to generate a real discussion- there might be some guy who silently agrees.

I'll just say this. Fuck racists, sexists, incels, homophobes, transphobes, etc. And fuck the people who promote this behavior.

Have a good one CE. It's been 17 long years here for me, and I leave disappointed.

They are good headphones. I'm an audiophile and my HE-560s definitely sound of similar quality but the prob with XM3s is they have a little too much bass and it is a little muddy

you can fix this with the EQ software, however. but you can't use the high CODEC with EQ mode so you have to have it wired.

Overall I don't mind the extra bass. I have multiple pairs of headphones for different things.

Obviously I would recommend different cans if this was your only pair...i would also not tell someone to get Closed Headphones (which these cans are) unless they want it for public spaces because it really is just getting less sound quality for the money

overall, they are a solid pair of headphones that are superior to all other wireless headphones and especially in noise cancelling. I would call their sound quality subpar compared to other headphones in same price bracket that are open and can only be used at home.

So if you needed a wireless pair of cans that you can use in public without people hearing your stuff it's a perfect choice. also if you wanted noise cancelling it's the best thing you can get

if you wanted pure sound quality you should have gone for something else. high quality IEMS at the same price will sound better and pretty much cancel noise by the virtue of being literally plugging your ears.

but they are definitely not comfortable. that's the prob with IEMs

overall i would recommend xm3s to most casual people who want to have a pair of headphones on the go

Still arguing nonsequitur statements. A ancient drawing or statue does not change the fact that Asians have less facial hair on average. Facial hair has also dramatically decreased over time in all populations, therefore your argument isn't just nonsensical it is also flat-out wrong.

No shave November is not racist. There are only a handful of races that can't grow facial hair. I don't take it personal. It's not really the hill I wan't to die on.

This isn't an alt account. And this isn't a racist statement. It's a fact, and is actually medically relevant.

Facial hair decreased in founder groups as people moved from africa, to europe. then it disappeared in asia. persons from further destinations containing aborginial groups and native americans etc. also tend to not have facial hair

Thus, today only a minority of people can grow a beard or really grow that much facial hair . These populations are predominantly among white and blacks. Rarely do hispanics (especially if they are of particularly native american descent. if they are more black or white mix they tend to have facial hair) or asian men have the ability to grow a beard.

No Shave November really implies that being able to grow a beard is the norm, and that it is a reflection of manhood. This doesn't seem fair, and supports the idea that Caucasian and African men as being more masculine and sexually attractive. Studies have shown Asian cultures do not find facial hair attractive in men and this would likely be common sentiment among Native American populations in Latin America.
