We had to have an appraisal done on a property my dad owned before we got it transferred. The guy sent us the papers we needed and the check we had sent to him to pay for it. He hadnt deposited the check.
My mom is a fiend about paying for services. She has a friend whose husband offered to dig a hole for our flagpole for free and shes stressed that he is refusing to take payment for it.

Ive always kept butter or margarine in the fridge. This house gets pretty warm in the summer. I even keep chocolate candy in the fridge. (Done that so much that I actually prefer it to be cold!)

Probably the Nine (sometimes Eight) Divines and the Daedric Princes in the Elder Scrolls series The lore for those games is quite fascinating.

Same. While it gives me a ready made excuse to stay inside and play video games all day, its also making our chickens miserable. I wish they would come inside like our dogs do. We could sit in front of the air conditioner together!

Heck it really mightve been their fault. Sounds like something that would happen if the drain plug wasnt put back in.

Yeah, we do our own oil changes on cars, trucks, and lawnmowers. Its messy, but satisfying. When we get an electric car, itll be one less to do.

Did anyone ask these stones if they wanted to be cast? I think there was a talking snake so maybe the stones could talk too. Stones these days are smart enough to stay quiet. (Yeah, I think about stuff like this all the time, its not because Im drunk.)

Nope. I want to play games but our internet connection isnt good enough. The way things are going, we wont get the same great service as some areas until Im 80.

I dont really like guns either since theyre loud and silencers are banned in California for a stupid reason. I still would use one if I had to and I learned as a kid how to use one safely. (Most likely, anyone who breaks into our house would not give me time to get the rusty machete outside my bedroom door.)

I see more free water fountains around these days than I did 40 years ago.

The only place I used to see them back then was school and recreational areas like the beach, but most of the ones outside of school never worked.

Theres one in the park one town over that looks like a lion with his mouth open. Still works great for over 40 years now.

Well, it was a bit challenging to give our lawnmower an oil change and new oil filter, new air cleaner and filter, new fuel filter, and new spark plugs, but it seems to be happier. Ill test that out fully tomorrow.

Tell that to Flint, Michigan. Theyve also been having problems at the prison in our town. Dont know if they fixed that yet.

I love colorful things. Shiny is better than colorful, but only by a little bit.

That depends on the villain. The bank robber type ones weren't really that bad then you get into characters like the Joker.

Some would say that Joker just has a twisted sense of humor, some would say he landed on his head after being dropped off of the highest building in Gotham City. Heck, might be both of those things! Hes one of my favorite Batman villains though.

Very hard when a beloved pet dies. I was really close to my cat, Oliver. My dad accidentally ran over him with our little pickup. He was old and too slow to get out of the way in time so I never blamed dad or the pickup. That was quite a few years ago but still remember it clearly.

Villains are usually just misunderstood and the hero or heroes are the ones who are assholes. (Some of the things I think about regularly make me wonder if my brain is really malfunctioning or just doesnt give a shit anymore.)

Its my go to movie when I want to watch something fun with action and interesting characters. I love it a lot!
