I normally play on emperor and I absolutely piss on the AI and run away with the game and its not even remotely close

Ive tried two or three times over the past week or so to go one step up and play Immortal and I just get steamrolled by AI but moreso sidetracked by raging barbarians in the very early game.

what the hell? What kind of difficulty curve is that? How do people even get up to deity?

That's what I'm saying. Boston still has a treasure trove of picks and actual talent and even LA seems to have done pretty well too. Kuzma, Ingram, Josh Hart, and Lonzo as a young core are *almost* better than anything Philly has right now

Am I the only one irked by the artificially increased scoring pace this year? I get resetting the shot clock to less than 24 but why not make it 18 for example?

Its been better the last few years and Im not too sure what the format is but winners of the character battle should be excluded from character battles. Otherwise you get the same winners every year: Link, Mario etc.

If theyre everybodys favourite thats fine, cant we put them in some kind of GameFAQs hall of fame and exclude them from future battles? At least we keep it fresh.

As far as I remember the only time weve deviated from a Mario/Link is when L Block won but wasnt that just out of protest? I could be wrong.

I never really vote in these things but just seems boring how we get the same few characters winning every year.

As I said I dont look too deep into this stuff so they may well have switched it up this year
