It'll always baffle me that there are some who seriously think that people who work a full time job don't deserve a livable wage.

I work 72 hours a week and the money is great but I literally don't have time for anything else except on Sunday which is my only day off. You're not going to have time for anything at all at 80 hours a week and you better be enjoying your job at that point. Other than that, I would say try it But you better have good time management skills to do other stuff (laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc).

I go into a popular 5 star dealership to check out an old ass 90s toyota that I can use to commute to work.

- First guy that asks to help me tells me that they sold the car already. I ask to double check because I literally just called half an hour ago about it. He insists that it's been sold and that we can walk around the lot if I want. I comply. After about a few minutes, the fucking car is in the last lot and I ask him if that's the one. He says "uhhhh... ahhh.... ughhh... I think so" and then tells me it's in the sold lot.

- second salesman comes out to hear the convo. He asks his buddy if the car is sold... he says no because it's not even on the sold lot but it's on hold for another customer that has already out an initial deposit.

"Hey fuck it, I know you want this car TODAY... wait here, I'll get the keys" he says. Literally trying to sell a car that's on hold for another customer that's initially put money into it already.

So whatever, let's test it. Car ran pretty good after a 5 minute drive but I told him I'll think about it because I wanted to check out a few other vehicles today from other dealers.

"Ahhhh don't worry about that bullshit. This car already cheap as shit. Youre using it only for commuting right? What's $3000 to you? Come inside."

So I walk inside to his office and the dude already has the paperwork ready to go. I reminded him that a customer before me has initially put a deposit into this car as a hold.

"We've been trying to call the guy for the past 5 days, he's gone."

Then I told him I wanted to check out the other cars from other dealers today before they close first. He says that he's got someone else coming in right after me to actually purchase the car with cash on hand and that this is a missed opportunity. I was getting pissed off at this point. A few seconds later...

"Ok I won't push you anymore. What's your name and number?"

Dude just scribbled in my name and wrote in 8 digits instead of the normal 10.

As I was walking back to my vehicle, another salesman approached me and asked if i've been helped. I looked at him and with a surprise face, asked if he remember if he sold me a 2010 gray toyota corolla a few years ago. He says he does remember and wants to know what happened to the car. Told him it got into a wreck and that I'm here today to get another old vehicle and drove off. Funny thing is that I never bought a corolla here before.
