Star Trek: The Motion Picture is just them flying through Windows 95 screensavers for three hours. It's basically something slapped together just to have Star Trek on the big screen.

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock is basically "Whoops, we shouldn't have killed off Spock. Now we need an entire film to undo it."

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier is "How cheap can we churn out a film?" It's not entertaining. It's just there.

Personally, I like Star Trek XII: So Very Tired :P
