If I remember right anything more powerful than the Tzar Bomb wouldn't do all that much more. As it was the fire ball of the Tzar Bomb didn't touch the ground as the reflected blast wave pushed it back up. After a certain point most of the downward blast wave gets reflected by the earth and disrupts then expanding part of the wave that's moving horizontally.

She has acted like the presidency was her birthright for over twenty years now. She never fought for it and always treated it as her's to ascend to.
And then her campaign. What exactly did she stand for? That whole circus and all those ads, all that money spent and all those stump speeches. Not once did I ever see or hear what she stood for. It was vote for me because I'm a woman. And vote for me because I'm not Trump. That's it. "I'm with her."? WTF?
You can agree with or hate Trump all day long but at least he was saying what he wanted to do even if he didn't have policies laid out.

Well the only solace I take in the way things are right now is that every study and poll is showing that the next generation after these millennials (Z?) are conservative thinking and don't go along with any of this bs we're seeing right now.

Millennials are very much like the baby boomers. A bunch is shit for brains cry babies that the older generation looked at and wonders what in the hell happened. And the generation after them looks at and wonders what the hell happened.

And that raises the interesting question. Which generation fucked up/will fuck up the country more? The Boomers or the Millennials? One is pretty much all said and done, whereas I don't think we've seen the ultimate fruit of the crazy tree yet with the twisted hellscape the millennials want to turn the country into.

Wow. It's not even in the bad part of San Bernardino.
The last time things went down in that city it was those terrorists that got gunned down literally right in front of my great aunt's house.
This is way up to the north of the city by where a lot of those homes burned in that huge fire from like 2003. For anyone that even knows what I'm talking about. I'm just filled with pointless info.

Yep. And things like that. In fact all of the 60s and 70s. The music, the fashion, the colors, society, etc.
I wonder how many of the greatest generation had to live through that and seriously think to themselves. "We lived through the great depression and fought a world war to give our children a future. And this is what it is."

Time feels like it passes faster the older you get. Add to that everyone always seems to remember the years when they're like 12-22 the best and everything after that is just a blur.
So I swear to god it's like 1999 and 2003. Wasn't it just those years like a few years ago? I mean obviously no but it sure feels that way. I graduated 17 years ago? My dad has been dead for almost a decade now? I'm going to be 35? I mean holy fucking shit!
I remember birthdays and holidays and even random as all hell moments from 2001 like it was yesterday (and obviously 9-11 and the following 4 months). But I couldn't tell you anything specific about the entirety of 2009-2014. Everything just becomes a big blur.

I've been hit on a few times by guys and always at Barnes & Noble. I have no idea what that says about me or that store for that matter. Never the real feminine type but definitely the uh, obviously catcher type. Is bottom considered crass?
It's kinda flattering I guess, in a way. It doesn't bother me but then again the guys weren't creepy, ugly or old. It's like a compliment. And besides, at least someone's interested. Stay polite, move on the next aisle or to get coffee or find one of my brothers whom I'm almost always there with.

But even then. Mid thirties with fucked up shin muscles, granted I've never been to a doctor for it and issues breathing in the heat. At worst I would get stuck on a base doing paperwork or something.

Good lord. People are either that stupid or are simply children that don't know their history in regards to this sort of stuff.

Nothing is going to happen. Russia isn't going to do shit. Maybe we bomb Syria some more. Maybe NATO gets involved. At worst there ends up being a "peace keeping force" made up of mostly American forces and we end up in some god forsaken dozen year conflict again.
But there's not going to be a WW3. Russia will shoot it's mouth off like usual while we tell them to piss off. The usual suspects get behind us while the others verbally support Russia's stance but don't do anything one way or the other.

And most of them aren't any closer in relation to one another than I am to them. Oh so and so is getting married and we're all invited. Great. Who is that? So and so died. Who?
I see these people at the occasional funeral I attend. If that. How they remember who I am when I've spoken a dozen words to them my whole life I have no idea. And then throw in the damn nicknames everyone over 50 seems to have because of the cliche mexican family we are and I really have no idea who anyone is when they get mentioned.

The most I've ever seen scalpers selling tickets for that were identical to mine were when we saw the Raiders at Chargers and the 49ers at Cardinals. Both in 2012. The tickets I had paid for were under $70 at both games and the scalpers outside the parking lots at each site wanted $300 for the same damn section. They shout what section they have to the cars in line.

I'm good with the cheap general admission lawn area or the nose bleed assigned seats in a stadium. I know a lot of people like my brothers have to be up front and do the whole mosh pit bs. No thank you. I'm there to relax and listen to the music. Not scream like a jackass while getting pushed around by a bunch of sweaty neanderthals. I can talk about football. Pro and college. I like my Niners and USC. I know enough but I'm not the type than can tell you what play they're about to run as they line up. Or even know the full lineup of the teams. I know enough to be into it, who the important players are and what position they are. When a play is bad, when a call made by the refs is shit.

Everything else. Yeah, it may as well be another language. MLB, NBA, NHL. I actively hate soccer though. Just fuck that noise. And I like pointing out every time some other country and it's people like to look down their noses at us Americans as being rude or uncivilized. We don't act like absolute animals that trample each other to death in the stadium over a damn sport. Where we have to have actual barbed wire between seating sections to prevent crushing. The last NFL game in Mexico they showed that setup in the stadium.
