I haven't found any of that to be a real problem for me. I think backtracking and using the warps is quick enough. It's easy to identify which doors you haven't been into.

Hm, I just finished playing Deus Ex for the first time and am going to get HR on Tuesday. I'll be interested to see if this sentiment holds up, though of course I hope you are wrong.

This game is great. I went run and gun, melee+shotguns and it was a blast.

Got the other two endings. The Illuminati ending actually felt like more of a full one that the others, since it had more scenes and included all the characters. Plus there was a nice parallel between Page/Simons and Everett/Denton in there.

Yeah that seemed like the best option to me too. I might go back to look at the other endings, but needless to say this game was amazing and my only regret is not playing it sooner because I got stuck on the Liberty Island mission (because I tried to free Gunther with little weaponry, this was before I knew I could loot bodies so I ran out of ammo/charge when I got there and tried to sneak past some guards to no avail).

I wouldn't really say this game is scary, but nothing tenses me up quite like hearing the pitter patter of those robo-spiders. Maybe using the GEP is overkill, but I'd rather take them out at a distance.

Oh, I didn't mean to imply there was so much swimming that I had to put points in swimming in order to get around, although I did think there was a good amount of mandatory swimming in the underwater labs. I only put points into swimming because I have so many and it's really cheap to do so.
