It's essentially one guy who writes all the music and who has essentially hired guns for live shows.

There's a fair amount of metal bands that are somewhat similar. I mean, Opeth is virtually all Akerfeldt. Nile is essentially Karl Sanders.

And that helps in that it's a singular creative stream, and not a bunch of wacky input from Person A and Person B.

They were a nice throwback band and have evolved to an enjoyable band with some really catchy tunes.

It only semi-works because she has a thin girl's face & it's gorgeous. In the same way that Ashley Graham works.

But what these "big is beautiful" advocates fail to understand is that faces like theirs are not the norm.

Personally I hate that she has what I call the Brock Lesnar syndrome:

1) Move from a non-striking sport (e.g. Judo, NFL, WWE) to the UFC
2) Have a couple wins because the talent pool in that fighter's specific division is shallow as hell
3) Get overly hyped and undeservedly inflated. "baddest man/woman in the planet!"

Then the inevitable happens and they finally get hit in the face, lose the fight and they take it like babies. They come back for another fight "stronger than ever", they get their ass kicked again, they can't take the punishment and...

How does this apply to Lesnar? He had two quality wins against Mir and Carwin, who were not "cans" in the least bit. While Cain did beat him, you can't really count the Reem fight as that was post Diverticulitis and Lesnar was clearly not right in that bout.

I don't like how this article is written in that it's intentionally calling the victim "Jane Doe", but states her as an extra in "The Nanny Diaries." If she's credited or had a speaking line, she could be outed.

If she was a ratings hit, she would've just been suspended or on an indefinite leave of absence.

there was that one scene where the guy thought they could be repelled with salt
when his wife sprained her ankle while carrying their young daughter she told him to take their daughter, shoot her and run. he decided to put his salt theory to the test by instead of running creating a circle of salt around them. this ended up with his wife getting raped to death while blaming him, him getting raped to death, and their young daughter who couldnt have been more than 10 years old getting torn to pieces

Yeah that's the one scene that sticks out to me. Especially since that was in the first major arc.

I read a majority of the series and the side arcs. The one-offs were usually the worst, as it was the most shocked crammed into 1-3 issues. The longer arcs were better as they would include some world-building and survival aspects. But you aren't missing anything if you never read the series.

There are some better violent comics with better stories, like American Vampire or Uzumaki.
