Honestly, one thing we can do is stop caring when a random cop gets their fee-fees hurt. That's why people fake these stories. Because they want the national attention that other stories like this have gotten.

Replace "cop" with "assistant manager of local business" and it isn't news.

The thing is the average person respects cops. It's only on places like here and reddit that the majority dislikes them.
