Yeah, Chase is going to want to see some big limits and/or revolving credit lines if you're thinking of jumping on their Sapphire line, particularly the Reserve since it's the flagship. The starting limit on my Preferred was $8,000, and that was after I had several cards in the $5,000 range for about 6 months (my CSP limit has grown handsomely since then).

So, yeah, what you need is established history with big limit cards. Income is also a component as I'm sure my job assisted in their decisions. I also haven't read through the topic fully, but Chase has a 5/24 rule - auto denial for applicants who apply for more than 5 cards within 24 months (for ANY card and not just Chase).

If they still don't budge, I'll just wait 6-12 months before reapplying again :(

I had around a mid-low 700s when I got my Sapphire Preferred in March of this year

My first credit account was opened in 2014. I had 2 cards at that time (with limits of 2k and 1k, respectively). I also had a paid off car loan in my history that I had paid off in just over 2 1/2 years. I'd also been at my job for over 3 years

Honestly what is likely affecting your acceptance is how much you make, your credit utilization, and how long you've been at your current job.

People who are new to their job are more likely to be let go and the bank sees that as a potential liability on you. I'd wait til you've been at your job for a solid year.

and just a FYI, I do live with parents. Do pay a monthly bill(electric bill), do work full time(though unfortunately not making $15 an hour+, only $13)

the loan thing surprised me. always been told that loans are "bad' from family and that it was preferable to not have one at all. welp

It was a human. Got off the phone with them, but they called. Wanted to verify information(annual income, where I work and live , if I live with people or not, if I pay bills ) after I gave them the required info. they put me on hold, and then i was informed that I had gotten rejected, and that they will also be sending a letter.

I know that recently for Capital One Quick Silver , Discover IT, and even BP Visa, they auto increased my Credit Limit by a good amount. Like $1000+ for CC and Discover. $800 for BP

-I have a 751 on Trans-union, and 747 on Equifax Credit Score(According to CK)

- I have applied to get the chase card 4 times previously. All got denied for not having enough Credit established. The last time I applied was in July of 2017.

After applying today, I got the typical "we'll let you know in 30 days". Is it possible for me to plead my case better to get the Chase Sapphire Reserved CC to a rep? Or any way to increase my chance if I get denied again?

Working on a project that's due. However, I have a bad habit of being extremely tired around 11pm and falling asleep.

Want to stay up the whole night and possibly early morning to complete it. What's the best way to do this? Coffee helps slightly, but doesn't seem strong enough to keep me awake when it gets to 12AM.

Does what better? I'm serious, sometimes companies put out info in regards to their product that is either extremely important and universal, or can promptly be ignored . Just want to know if their is a difference between using your phone an hour or two after installing a protector, or using it after 7-8 hours. If i waited just an hour or two, would that increase the chance of the protector slipping from the phone?

Bought an IQ shield screen protector. Directions say that I shouldn't turn on or use my phone for 7-8 hours after I install the screen protector

Can this promptly be ignored? Or would anything happen if I decide to use my phone an hour or two after installing the protector?

There are no wireless buds or headphones superior to that of the Sennheisers HD598. but there has to be a way for me to listen to music with these headphones, and not the other low quality garbage headphones made for people who lack common knowledge of audio.

I have an "HD598" Headphones, the quality of which beats out even the "Best" wireless headphones on the market. I strictly listen to Flac, as Flac is of excellent quality while MP3 is not as good.

I still want to upgrade from a Nexus6P as that current phone is now shit and the Google Pixel 2 sound reasonable , but I still want to listen to music without much inconvenience.

Do I have any option in being able to listen to music ? Are there any good attachments I could get, that wouldn't provide an inconvenience to my experience?

just sent a decent follow up email. surprisingly got a response, with the hiring manager mentioning that they are still finalizing their decision, they have very few other spots left, and to stay tuned.

Had an interview around 2 weeks ago. After the interview, I sent a thank you e-mail.

Haven't heard from them since. Was wondering whats a good type of follow up e-mail that I could send(basically an update about whether i've been hired or still considered), without sounding unprofessional or desperate.
