  • Mario Golf is the only sports spinoff series worth playing.
  • The Super Mario Bros. Super Show is good, and is still the best interpretation of Princess Peach Toadstool we've ever gotten in any medium.
  • Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart Double Dash are the only two games in the series that still hold up.
  • We don't need any more Paper Mario, Mario + Rabbids, Mario Party, or Mario Olympic Games games.
  • The only reason any person could consider Super Mario World to be better than SMB3 is the ease of replaying levels. SMB3 is superior in every other way, including visual style.

  • We need a sequel to Pokemon Colosseum / XD before a sequel to Legends Arceus.
  • Mega Evolution should return, but any future Megas should be either completely new Pokemon or old ones that are bad.
  • Pokemon with obscure evolution methods are good, as long as there's a clear way to figure it out in-game.
  • Resources would be better spent just porting collections of Gens 5-7 to current consoles and charging full price rather than remaking any of them.

I unironically think it's just going to be verbatim from the SMBSS theme song: The Mario Brothers are plumbers in an AU Brooklyn. They find a warp zone while on the job and end up in the Mushroom Kingdom just as the Princess gets captured. Wacky adventures ensue until the final confrontation with the villain of the movie, Bowser, though they try and make it look like they're going to do a subversion where Donkey Kong is the real villain. There is no sequel hook in the end credits, but they do a cover of "Do The Mario".
