They pronounce in mah ko in the remake but Mako is an actual word in the English and it is pronounced may ko, so that's how I've always said it.

They also pronounce Midgar as a spondee, which sounds hilariously stupid. I always pronounced it as a troche.

You can dev something cool for pennies a year or you can accept a nice salary and dev something that moves files around.

When I gave up my faith in the tech industry was when I saw an ad in like 2013 for "Microsoft Kinect" informing me that it had medical applications.

It's sad af that the cutting edge is for entertainment and years and years after the fact people finally decide to ask if this thing could be used to safe effing lives.
