Not sure what the phenomenon is with objectifying asian guys to be the same -- k-pop dancer, sushi eating, loves anime, plays league of legends, speaks Korean or Japanese -- I'm constantly the victim of stereotypes with my tinder matches. I suppose the platform is to blame, as we probably swipe out of habit, making a millisecond decision about a person based on their short profile and picture. Who's going to take the time to actually peruse through and be like "oh wait, he likes Duran Duran and he's a fan of 18th century French literature." I speak English with a native tongue, never went to eastern asia so albeit being ethnically asian, I am pretty much cultured as an American. The sad truth is guys... I always get matched with "predatory" anime loving weebo girls who look like they've been chained up for the circus. They are usually overweight, overdressed in asian merchandise, and dominate our conversations with emoji-like expressions and cringe-worthy attempts to act like an anime protagonist. I'm sick of it. I just want an attractive, non-asian girl, to see me for me, and not have any bias or preconceived notions about my ethnicity. --- "Let's be honest...I'm everybody's type.
