Yeah, just like the last two weeks where the team that won the toss won the game.

37-37 game where neither team could get a stop in the second half. Not the same game.

Also the Vikings would've been fine if the kicker didn't screw it up.

That's still a problem with NFL overtime. The Saints won the game when they won the toss, and something is still wrong with that.

The NFL said the call last week was correct even after getting hammered for it.

This was most likely a "whoever wins the flip wins the game" situation.

Pondering a lock but not sure I'm that insane

I'm taking the Browns simply because I think they're the better team and that Jets/Lions game will turn out to be that perennial game we look back on when it's week 15 and ask "How did that happen?"

(And personally speaking, I know I am not mentally ready for a game right now. The risk of implosion would be high.)

I'll let Blade know about this. I imagine he'll join grudgingly with no real promise of being useful.

I'll just do the critique myself.

I'm slow to commit to my words, which weakens their power. Given I effectively never directly contradict myself (because I remember all my actions during any given game) it would give them quite a bit more punch if I followed through more often.

I am easy to distract/get out of the game for short periods of time, which people can use to buy time. I am also extremely susceptible to having my play affected by real life feelings and events, though I've at least learned to recognize when there's a problem. I do hold grudges though.

I respond to feeling confusion (and sometimes surprise) with a defense mechanism anger and stubbornness that takes me some time to process through and can temporarily derail the game. (Honestly I'm still confused by that day 4. Even a month later it makes no sense to me.)

My focus casts on a net eventually and once that's happened it's hard for me to follow people who aren't in it. It was day 5 last game and I had effectively nothing to say about Death at all, as an example.

Don't have time to write more right now but I'm sure there's more.

Another quick trip to level 3... Now to again spend half my season there probably~

They've been doing an opening week doubleheader for several years now.

The second game is 10:15, aka too late for most people.

Taunting.. I giggled at how Jets that felt to me.

The Lions are looking incompetent at everything so far. It's impressive how lost they seem on offense

I have no idea how that wasn't overturned, but it's usually the Jets on the bad end of terrible calls like that. Maybe this year they're due?

I had just said to a friend of mine that I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions won 34-6 despite my inexplicable impulse to pick the Jets... And then it starts like that.

Every time I look for a reason to pick the Jets, I find yet another reason to pick the Lions. Gonna hit myself if the Jets win this despite there being no logical reason for it.

Browns had no choice but to punt there. It's still possible they get the ball back, but failing there on 4th and 10 is an instant loss.

This game is.. Amazing.

Mm, looks like I spoke too soon on the Browns. Tie is really possible now.

A 29 yard punt out of bounds will.be the end of the Browns.

I am confused by the Rams being so favored because I was going to pick Oakland without even thinking about it originally until I saw how favored the Rams are.
