Based on her Cobert interview she seems to think of it as a conflict between two sets of white people. When in reality it wasnt a conflict at all, the Nazis were systematically murdering 6 million people for being Jewish.

Im sorry you feel attacked because youre enjoying a technically compromised game. Perhaps though if you, and everyone else?wasnt so accepting of the bare minimum for 25 years you would actually have a masterpiece by now. Something to think about.

Game leaked and looked a technical mess. I predicted it will still get critical acclaim despite this. It got critical acclaim despite every review mentioning its a technical mess.

Theres a difference between wanting things to be bad and recognizing things that are bad and the biases that allow it.

How did I? The critics could have not give good reviews to a bad looking, devoid of ambition and technical failure of a game and then I would have been wrong.

Skyrim, New Vegas, Witcher 3, Witcher 2, etc etc etc. Clearly the technical issues pale in comparison to how fun the game is.

All games, with the possible exception of New Vegas, that were all incredibly ambitious. What ambitions does this game have? To not meet the benchmark of open world games of 15 years ago?

Im not criticizing you or your game really. If you like it and enjoy it, fine. Plenty of people enjoyed Skyrim and Cyberpunk, etc. Im bemoaning the sorry state of gaming journalism, that a game with so many technical issues and a severe lack of ambition can garner so much praise because Nintendo publish it.

According to Eurogamer it struggles to hit 30fpsin 2022 surely that should be a massive problem.

They probably didnt deserve such high scores but at least those games were ambitious and didnt look decades old.

It isnt failing, its getting critical acclaim, thats the point.

Im not taking joy. Im just pointing out that some companies get an easy ride by gaming press and despite the game leaks exposing how bad it looked I rightly predicted it wouldnt be a factor in somehow achieving critical acclaim

While the graphical quality of SwSh was disappointing, the actual main game was a joke which is what I cared about moreso (I mainly bought the game to play VGC doubles online so I did get my moneys worth for sure).

Cool, plenty of people found Cyberpunk fun, but whats the deal with a game with some many technical issues, that looks like it has the graphical fidelity of a PS2 game, getting a free pass from supposed impartial critics?
