If this drama taught me anything, it's that r/rantgrumps really can't be trusted. I didn't know about that sub-Reddit before this drama happened. Now I know what that place is like.

If Game Grumps shuts down, I won't be sad. If this story is true, then Dan's a piece of shit. Also, Arin's scum and the channel's content is awful, so I won't be sad if their YouTube channel goes away.

I liked the game when it came out. Still had those wonky Heroes physics that were a downgrade from the Adventure games.

Like everythinf about it was edgy and stupid but oddly enjoyable. I even liked a lot of the weapons. >_>

Omochao gun is perfect. I love it. XD

Speaking of paths, I love how one of the paths has Dr. Eggman giving Shadow three different answers about his past in three consecutive levels.

"You have no past, Shadow! I'm being totally honest with you!"

"JK LOL you're actually one of my many Shadow androids! That's the truth!"

"JK LOL my grandfather created you! You totally believe me now, right Shadow? Right?!"

I remember the game being enjoyable as long as you did the middle path. The one that has Shadow going "I do what I want, I won't listen to Sonic or the evil aliens or whatever. I'll do what is good for ME."

I also remember him maybe killing Robotnick at the end lol.

Middle pathway had Shadow thinking he was an android/robot. I'll admit, that was really stupid, lol.

You know what they say, the more the merrier!

...it's not that bad? I mean, I get the game has problems like the horrible execution with the story that gets nullified by the last story segment, some uninteresting and boring missions, and having to play the first level ten times just to unlock all the endings. However, what the game does right, it does well enough. I thought Shadow had fine control (he's a bit slippery, but I thought it was easy to adapt to), it had decent to good levels with a few exceptions, the music was good (yes I liked the music, sue me), and even though the idea of Shadow using guns is a silly concept, I honestly thought the gunplay in this game was good. Most weapons do a good job at locking onto the target and being able to have infinite ammo while one of the Chaos gauges are maxed out is so satisfying. Also, using Chaos Control near the end of Space Gadget is a beautiful sight to behold.

It's been years since I last played it and after playing it again, I honestly don't believe Shadow's game deserves as much hate as it gets. I feel like it's blown out of proportion. It has problems, but I don't think they're game breaking. It's a decent game, I'm not ashamed or embarrassed to say that.
