That was literally just done to fix the continuity goof with Iron Man 1, I'm pretty sure, and we will never see Mandarin again.

What's the continuity goof?

Heavy Rain doesn't hold up well and has too many mundane QTEs. Good replay value though.

Beyond has a garbage plot, the non-linear storytelling is implemented in a VERY annoying way, and the characters weren't sympathetic at all.

Detroit has its shortcomings for sure - Kara's story lost all emotional impact for me after learning that Alice is an android; replaying her chapters is a real slog - but all of the stories are quite strong on a first playthrough, and Connor's holds up extremely well on replays. Still suffers from David Cage-isms though. The man needs to learn to write subtlety into his characters.

Fahrenheit is pretty bland.

Can you post a pic of your beard? In my experience girls like either the stubbly look or a short but full beard, but only if your facial hair is really dense. If it's wispy you just end up looking creepy.

How did particular very first features emerge, like the first eyeball?

There are functional intermediates between creatures with no sight and human eyes or bird eyes (with the most advanced sight). There are sea creatures with extremely rudimentary eyes that allow them to see (at least a little bit) in the minimal light environments that exist in the ocean.

Besides the origin of life itself, which isn't even covered by evolution, the hardest part for me to wrap my head around is the time scale. Life seems so unchanging in our experience of 80 years, but since evolution usually takes place across millions of years, it feels impossible to visualize.

The 1st IM is the best MCU movie but Winter Soldier is a close 2nd.

I appreciate the acknowledgement of how great IM 1 is, I agree, but I really never found any part of Winter Soldier worthy of the praise it gets. It's certainly not bad except for the Zola bunker part which I thought was incredibly stupid, but to me, the best it ever got was just good.

Literally the most interesting part of Winter Solider to me was pausing it during one of the aerial shots and pointing out a building a I briefly lived in.

Different strokes I guess. To me Winter Soldier is one of the best action movies I've ever seen. Outstanding fight choreography, menacing villain, intriguing espionage plot... I love it. I didn't care for IM 2 or 3. Iron Man 1 is one of the best superhero movies around though.

Almost certainly, he's Iron Man's most interesting villains.

He still exists in the MCU, although doesn't really have anything to do with Iron Man right now. Hopefully they don't forget about him in the future.

I wouldn't know where to start.

For salt, sprinkle it on until you barely start to taste it. Unless you put way too much, it won't make your food actually taste salty - it'll sharpen the existing flavours, so don't be afraid of it. Obviously if you want the dish to be more salty, add a bit more. If you want something to be crispy (e.g. you're frying or roasting something), a slightly larger dose of salt will draw out the moisture and make it crispier when it's cooked. If you're cooking a thicker piece of meat, you should use more salt than you'd think because it needs to season through the entire piece. Also, if you're a beginner, sea salt is less strong so it's harder to put too much and mess up the flavours.

For pepper, it's more about personal taste. It adds a tiny bit of heat, which for me always makes a dish taste better. But generally you want less pepper than salt.

As for the other herbs and spices...it sounds silly but I go by smell. I'll hold the jar / fresh herb next to my dish and sniff and if the smells seem to go well together, I'll add some. How much you add depends on the dish though, because these flavours are stronger than salt and pepper. It doesn't hurt to follow a recipe when you're first starting. My most used herbs / spices are parsley, basil, chili powder, cumin, and oregano.

hard to say exactly what the reasons are but i wish they could get their shit together. africans are breeding like rabbits and this world is already overpopulated with enough dirt poor with no quality of life.

Easier said than done. Poor education and poverty mean that they can't afford (or don't even know about) contraception. Even if they could afford it, there's evidence that people in poor countries try for more kids so someone will help with their chores and bring in more money; plus they likely don't have satisfying careers and family is their only source of joy.

Compared to Iron Man 1 and Cap 1, it doesn't hold a candle. Plus Hemsworth's eyebrows are extremely blond for the whole movie and it distracts me.

Better than Thor 2 but definitely on the lower end of MCU.

"Guns, Germs, and Steel" is a book that theorizes about this. The gist is that Europe, Asia and North Africa have the perfect geography and climate for farming, which meant larger settlements and civilizations developed faster. That headstart carried them for centuries. For whatever reason Europe seemed the most keen to conquer other nations.

Nah, I've never liked a video game enough to want one. Not to say I haven't loved games in the past... but I want to save tats for stuff that are truly special to me and / or remind me of a great time in my life. I don't have a video game memory that fits that.

If I were to get one I'd probably get the boss weakpoint runes from Shadow of the Colossus. I never even played the game that much, but I think they look really cool.
