Yeah, but I've stopped almost cold turkey in the last five years or so. Most of the old stuff is available for purchase easily enough, and it's usually also so damn cheap that I'd rather just pony up the $5 than deal with the emulation/rom software.

Chrono Trigger is probably the last major holdout.

The PS4 board has some pretty concerning topics, NGL.

I'll probably wait until I have a PS5.
Honestly, I'm glad the only franchise I'm fanatical about and MUST buy Day 1 is Zelda. Everything else can wait, and patience seems to be a fine choice if more developers will pursue this strategy of incrementally "making it better" two years after launch.

I mentioned it earlier, but I got Witcher 3 in 2019 with all the DLC for $15, and I can only assume it played much more smoothly than it did in 2015 (because I don't recall encountering major issues). All this early footage enforces my decision to do the same for Cyberpunk.

Yeah the story will pick up soon.

And I agree with SHINE - the Colony 6 quest line and interconnected Affinity Chart made the world seem pretty cohesive for me. That said, I don't think I've heard a single fan mention the side quests as a standout part of the game (there are over 400, so most will be very boilerplate).

I finally got around to Odyssey a few months ago... and it may be one of the most "flawless" games I can ever remember playing. I got every single moon and left with literally zero complaints. Nintendo bowled a 300 with that one.

Of the three games in question, though... I'd say Galaxy is my favorite, with 64 inching close behind due to an inexhaustable well of nostalgia. I'm sure it's aged poorly, but I can't imagine liking it less than Sunshine, which I've never liked.

Let melee die. It would actually force people to take a shower. Seriously, I've been to a seperate Ultimate and Melee gatherings and the melee people were so smelly I had to leave. I don't mean to meme, but it's one that's so real. The rape/abuse thing is an individual basis but the bad BO is literally everyone.
I checked out EVO for a couple hours one year, and maybe the venue was big enough to allow for better ventilation, but I didn't detect any BO from the Melee section or anywhere else. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it was much worse in smaller venues, and I generally agree that the "poor hygiene" stereotype is pretty damn embarrassing and should be worked on.

The one time I detected terrible BO at an event was during a small wrestling show (ROH), and it was putrid enough that I both wanted to leave and felt embarrassed with my own presence there.

How do the two compare? I didn't really love the art direction in the definitive edition, but I can absolutely see some areas of optimization for the original.
The character redesigns are so good. They might not be your thing if you actively dislike the anime look, but they still "feel" like the original characters without having early-era PS2 faces. Overall, I didn't notice any "jarring" changes. The rearranged musical tracks sounded very similar to me, and most other changes are welcomed QOL improvements with the quest and menu systems. One thing I appreciated in DE's combat system is that some Arts icons blink up to alert you when it's the best time to use them.

The one major new addition to DE - the separate epilogue - is pretty trash compared to the main game, but the main game is so damn good and complete that I wasn't even disappointed.

It's a good step for optics, if not nothing else. This is going to pass soon when it was unthinkable only ten or so years ago. Cannabis is now decriminalized in 15 states, including red states like South Dakota and Montana. In most of those states, including the aforementioned conservative ones, it was made legal via popular vote ballots and passed easily. It's only a matter of time.

CaptainOfCrush

Red9 is my personal favorite weapon in the game, buuuut

Gotta admit that the Blacktail wins. The only notable advantage the Red9 has is damage per individual shot, and it doesn't even begin to noticeably outperform the Blacktail there until its Exclusive upgrade, which means waiting until the start of Chapter 5 to reap the rewards. The Blacktail's advantages in firing speed, reload speed, capacity, and inventory space are clear from the beginning of 3-1 when it's first available.

This topic has been done a thousand times (not that I mind since the debate is still fun), but when people compare the two, they usually look at the fully upgraded forms which aren't even available until like 75% through a New Game run. For a true first time run, I think Blacktail has the advantage. For NG+, functionality isn't a big deal since you can run through the game with just about any upgraded weapon you want.

From the info you've given, filing as an LLC vs a sole proprietor won't make much (any) difference from a tax perspective. Even if you set up and separately file an LLC tax return, the profits will flow through to your individual tax return (hence the term "pass through entity") and be taxed at your individual tax rate. For a sole proprietor, the benefits of creating an LLC are often legal, since as the name implies, you can limit your individual liability through an LLC.

I feel like "Decriminalize cannabis" is a no-brainer winning slogan right now. It just passed easily in at least two red states (three if you count medicinal legalization in Mississippi). It's now legal recreationally in at least one state in every region of the country except for the deep south, and any rational person knows why.

Easy political win at this point.

And while it doesn't "defund" them or even redirect funds, decriminalizing pot indirectly gives the police less power.

A lot of the reason people look for college degrees in today's job market is because it's less about the major, and more about the ability to prove you can handle the potential workload in an increasingly office-based economy.
Great point. The emotional person's reaction to an office manager with a Masters Degree in English is always to yell "see, they didn't even need a degree for that job!" when the real-world response is that non-college educated people would never be considered for that job in the first place. This is 2020, not 1990.

The one thing I liked about candidate Trump was his consistent (consistent in volume, not necessarily accuracy) criticism of our endless war industry, especially the Iraq War. I remember he went in hard on GWB in a debate in South Carolina and was booed loudly by the audience. I disliked just about everything else about the guy, but his unabashedly anti-war rants were refreshing from a Republican candidate.

All that said, I have no idea how peaceful of a President he's actually been while selling weapons to the Saudis, and I'm ignorant as to whether he's ever deescalated our use of drones, which was probably the number one criticism that plagued Obama's military policy.

EDIT: and that last post is just about as hilarious a slap to the face as I could have gotten.

Possibly, because I'm a male citizen who owns property that's worth way more now than when I bought it. I have more wealth, opportunity, upward mobility, and power than a majority of people in this country despite me only working part-time for the past year. I'm insanely fucking lucky to have found myself in this position, and it's possible others in this topic are similarly lucky.

But it would be really narrow-minded of me to assume that just because I'm not personally hurt by this President's policies and the attitudes he emboldens, the same holds true for literally everyone else. My gf's citizenship application process was considerably more expensive (and about twice as long) as it was in the years before Trump. She was legitimately nervous that she wouldn't get it despite doing literally everything by the book. My best friend's green card application process has been prolonged by 2+ years as a direct consequence of this Presidential administration making things more difficult for H1-B Visa applicants - keep in mind that this dude is a model member of society who's spent the last several years working 12 hour days while just hoping his green card application wouldn't fall apart and lead to his deportation.

It does affect people.

While I think things are questionable about this election like Joe getting more votes than Obama, I don't have the energy to care as much as a lot of them.

Am just telling you this coz I think it's going to go on for a long time and even if Joe gets into the white house this isn't ending. They are going to keep calling it illegitimate for the next four years... Kind of like the same exact histrionics you guys have been putting on for four years about Trump lol
I think his supporters will decline in both number and bluster pretty soon. Trump himself will be so pathetic on the way out (and in his life post-Presidency) that he will be difficult to defend for these people, who love him in part for his brazen displays of power and bravado (he will have none).

Anyway, why are you still associating with these people, even online? You seemed to earnestly want Bernie to win the Presidency, and fast forward a few months later, you admit to us that you're upset because the person Bernie despised - ideologically and personally - DIDN'T win. Is it really still for the lulz brotha
