Also, from a SMDC perspective, I hate that Mulan was cheated to victory. I like her as a character and think she could legitimately win the contest, but as the host, the alt army infuriated me and made a mockery of my contest.

I'm actually surprised she hasn't made another top 5 run yet. I figured her true fans would want to legitimize her success and take back the hate.

I would probably rank Mulan around where Karo had it. It's a pretty good movie, but not top tier stuff. Glad to see there are other people that are not totally wild about "I'll Make A Man Out Of You". It's decent, but not even the best song in its movie! Way overrated on this board.

I'll guess Pinocchio next since Aladdin looks safe... for now.

I'd like to also preface my Terk rant by saying that I'm generally positive about anything and everything Disney. It takes a lot, and I mean a lot, to make me feel so vilely about something Disney. Terk. Dammit Terk, why are you so terrible?

The only other Disney thing off the top of my head that is on Terk's level of horrible is the movie Chicken Little as a whole.

One-word movie title? Dammit, it's Aladdin.

Worst Character in the Disney Animated Canon: Terk

Tarzan is an amazing movie. It has so much going for it. All in all, it would probably be a top five movie if it wasn't for one character. Terk is an abomination. Tantor doesn't do much to help either, but Terk is beyond grating. She actually manages to take a really great movie and drag it down. And it's so hard to just ignore her like some other so-so/bad characters because of how in your face and annoying she is. If I could watch a Terk free version of the Tarzan or a version where Clayton mounts her head on a wall, I would be a happy person.

Dodged a bullet, but Aladdin is certainly next.

I enjoyed Bolt more than I thought I would as well, but not top 15 enjoyment. That being said, Mittens and Bolt are both fantastic characters.

"Just Around the Riverbend" would probably be in my top 10 Disney songs. I love it. Whenever it pops on my iPod, I can't help but sing along. Such a great tune. But yeah, Pocahontas is the weakest of the Renaissance era by a pretty wide margin in my book. It would have went out before this spot for me. The music is fantastic, but the characters don't really resonate with me. Overall decent movie, but not up to the elite standard.

I agree with the placement. If I ever tallied up my rankings, I'm pretty sure P&tF would be within plus or minus three spots from here. It's a really good movie, but it just is missing something. I'm not as wild about Facilier as some others, but that's not it. I can't quite put my finger on it.

I might bein the minority, but overall Fantasia 2000 > Fantasia. I love 2000's Rhapsody in Blue segment.

As for the next one, definitely Aladdin. He was totally underwater at one point and the water was colored.

I've always wanted to. I've been itching to go but last time I checked it wasn't coming to the Northwest any time soon. The closest I've been to seeing it was the performance they put on at The Animal Kingdom, a 30 minute performance titled Festival of the Lion King. It was good, but I'm sure it doesn't compare to the real thing.
The Festival of the Lion King is pretty damn awesome. Love that show.
