I would highly doubt any modern-day teenagers even know this site, let alone the forums exist.

Look at the last bullet point. That means, technically under these rules DToast should be banned because he posted his personal information.

I remember jeffhardyb0yz in his last topic saying he would reveal who he was by the end of the year as well. There is also a selfie thread on CE were people are posting pics of themselves maybe that falls under that rule too.

Unless that rule means one person doxxing someone else. If you post your pic/name maybe that is allowed.

Last I saw it was a public board. I think only limitation might have been a 15 user level requirement.

I just saw Adult Interests and Hobbies is still up. Maybe that could be the replacement for Sex board. Especially since it doesn't even have sex, porn, etc in title lol.

I kept seeing people say go to the sex board if you want to hornypost. Maybe admins saw that and shut it down.

Not saying sex board was a hornyposting board but there were people saying that was an alternative place to be.

I am not sure if it is a good or bad thing the new admin account was created in 2023. Did they never make an account until after they became an employee/paid.

I feel old, I remember that when it was first a meme 11 year now.

That topic he made where he took pics at the Emmys was cool. He could end up being the first CE user nominated for an Emmy or Oscar. Shame CE wont be the place he gives those BTS details if it happens. Or if he attends the Emmys/Oscars again.

What is helping CE is with the politics ban people are coming to this board specifically to discuss politics. So that is adding to the topics/posts which might not have been there before.

Also major users getting banned/suspended with new rules can easily be a 250-500 post topic to also increase the numbers.

They would have to be forced to eat though or they would die. Bring out the olives.

Any chance instead of hornyposting he got suspended for giving away plot details for an upcoming show?

On Board 8 political discussion was largely kept to a single "containment" topic. With the new rules that topic has been banned so now it has to be created on this board for the group of us to keep having our conversations.

Oh that makes sense. Missing piece was not knowing what B8 meant.

Damn that is just the politics ban makes me wonder what other boards/threads got killed with the hornyposting ban.

Besides that Troy Baker situation years ago in 2024 any famous gaming people post on here since site created those levels for them. If you want to look back to the past have they ever done an AMA like Reddit's r/IAmA does all the time for famous people. If they have please include the year it happened as well if you can remember.

Judging by that interest chart he might have left the site near the top. Kinda wonder if he had been around a bit longer would he have been able to keep the interest that high.

It is kinda funny in a way one thing mentioned in his good bye was he felt being early-mid 30s was too old. Now that is the average age on the site.

Yea site has a lot of archaic limitations. There is an 80 character limit for titles. 150 character limit for links. A character limit for posts. You can only post 10 topics per 24 hours on the entire site.

Just take a look at the internet.

These days it's all about images, clips and videos. I don't like it that much either (especially if we are hitting TikTok / YouTube shorts territory), but a wall of text that is just a list of 50 topic titles is a bit outdated by now.

Hell, we can't even post gifs or PNG files without summoning the horrors of C'thulu.

I don't like the reddit style of upvoting posts, but I truly think how they handle images and media is much better.

I like how Reddit has a feature where if someone posts a video/text you can view it without entering the thread. On GameFAQs only way to see the OP is entering the thread.

Social media like Facebook killed message boards. Some might argue that some boards live on, maybe with decent activity, but in general message boards died off.

Yea that is one of the issues that take place on GameFAQs/forums. People prefer to make jokes than seriously answer the title someone makes. On Reddit for example top response is often a CSI: Miami type of one-liner.

Yea. Since Fandom took over there hasn't been one of those greatest game ever contests. That was something that brought traffic to the site. And had people outside of it talking about GameFAQs. Like all those article when Undertale won.

Yea that is a part of why I couldn't get into AEW it just seemed more obviously fake/planned than usual. Maybe there is a term for it but watching the matches felt like dancing. They have a set of moves planned to do with partner.

Yea. I guess it too late. If I had made the topic before 2019 maybe there could have been a discussion about original. The parodies are discussed a bit more in thread.

But I completely understand. You can't even see the original music videos on YouTube they got taken down. So the only way to view it even if you wanted is through reaction channels or videos where not all parts are in same video on Youtube. He is persona non grata. The songs are still up though. And the parodies are still up. So people can enjoy the music with the parodies without directly saying they like R Kelly music or what he created in the original.

Yea he constantly escalated stuff out of nowhere threatening to shoot people. Him singing every ones lines along and then on top of singing everyone lines he suddenly becomes a omnipresent narrator/character. Was also hilarious. That first time in media I seen an omnipresent narrator type person introduced in middle of an ongoing story.

I might need to rewatch the parodies but I think American Dad was only one that referenced the omnipresent/ghost or whatever you call it R Kelly character.

I'm glad at last minute I added "and parodies" just wasn't sure if people actually wanted to discuss the original. Like I had no idea about the package stuff going on.

I just found out there was 33 parts. I have only seen the first five and went to Youtube to rewatch to find out Youtube deleted all his music videos years ago. Anyway went to one of the reaction channels and watched and forgot how funny it was. Quality drops in part 23-33 but there were still some moments. Apparently R Kelly said it was meant to be serious at one point.

That parodies were great too by Mad TV, Weird Al, and American Dad not sure if that can be discussed either since while different people it connected to R Kelly.
