Your first issue was using a wireless controller.

Is there a consensus that wired is better than wireless. I want to play from my couch and having a wire would be... just a bit inconvient.

I do think less of religious people, but very slightly. Most often I don't care unless their religiousness is hurting me or others

Steam controller is good but also really unique and difficult to get used to, and if you keep switching between/to PS/XBX controllers it gets harder
