It wouldn't have been surprising if they effectively made a new character named Kratos who comes across as a far nicer person. Instead we have a cold, violent, embittered man who's really trying to be a decent father. When he reaches out to Atreus but pulls back. Gets me every time. --- |

Overall I really liked the game. The new style is nice and the narrative level was something I didn't expect in a God of War game at all. --- |

Got pretty lucky and managed to use Blingtron to remove her lifesteal weapon and give her Aluneth, essentially just milling her. The fatigue damage ended up not being necessary but getting rid of the lifesteal was pretty key. Overall pretty alright, I like how each hero has their own playstyle. I think the bosses in the original dungeon run were more fun though. --- |

Plus he had Thran Temporal Gateway so in our second game he was literally just "flashing" big legendaries in. Still can't believe he opened three mythics in three packs. --- |

Thats because Ixalan and Eldritch Moon were standouts, but most were mediocre to bad with a few glimmers of awesome (Ob Nixilis in BFZ, Yahenni in Kaladesh). Yea the Ixalan stories were pretty great.
