That was long before his trial. I've not seen an update about yesterday's court case. Although it was probably just some boring procedure about scheduling an actual trial.

Dawkins has got his wiretapping charges to worry about. He probably doesn't have time to harass individual members. Well... unless he never sleeps and just obsesses over some trivial remark that a normal person would move on from... oh god, we're screwed.

So what? I googled him and posted an article before too. The guy announced he had a court date and then went MIA for like 60 days. Of course we fucking googled him to see what happened with his case.

It's not like we started googling some random person from the forum and started digging into his personal life. Dawkins went out of his way to make us a part of his little life drama. Of course we're going to follow up on it when shit gets interesting. Don't post every little detail about your life and then complain when someone learns some little something that you didn't want them too. No one would have learned about Dawkins charge in NC if he hadn't been posting almost daily updates to his other court case.

You have to understand that Dustin claims harassment and defamation when people are just disagreeing with him in the course of a normal conversation. The guy is talking about suing CBSi because people were "defaming" his supposedly anonymous username. We're not talking about a rational person here. You can't take his claims of "harassment" at face value.

Not at all, because the attention doesn't come from CE. We're just a blip on his crazy train radar. The people egging him on are the nut balls on the street he's always talking to, his YT supporters, and the Facebook groups. CE has no bearing on this guy's life.

The people who compile all of the info they can on him and use it to harass him whenever they can, going so far as to reach him outside of gamefaqs solely because they find enjoyment in agitating him.

Can anyone post proof of this actually happening? I post comments on Dawkins YouTube channel all the time. He's deleted half of them. It's not harassment to leave comments on his public YouTube channel for videos that he's actively shared here. If you post a video here and I leave a comment that says, "I don't like it" then that's not harassment. It's just an opinion in your public space. The fact is that Dustin can't take criticism. That's exactly why he deleted my comments supporting Hagerstown PD.

To be fair, this appears to be a pretty broad charge and the fact that NC isn't pursuing it probably means there isn't a lot to the charge. There's a strong chance it could just be some of those weird Japanese anime drawings of teens. There's no way to know. I'm more curious about why they searched his laptop in the first place and why they thought they'd find something.
