these are Anime I've watched couldn't like it due to certain characters or story. I acknowledged they are well animated and have engaging story. it's fine for you to like them. Chiaki agrees with me that Demon Slayer is a bit overrated and it's more of an eye candy anime that's designed to please the demographics of families that watch Anime together.

I'm arguing that it's okay for minors to be put to work as long as they are provided with a safe environment to do so. how do you expect poor families to get out of poverty if their kids can't find work? When you are an adult you need work experience to get a job.

kids are a lot more capable than what we give them credit for. coddling them the way we do lowers their IQ

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jkiij9dJfcw

teens are very capable to work. it's not the ideal situation to be in, but if money is tight and they want to work they should be able to . otherwise the alternative is selling drugs or other criminal activities.

Silent Hill series had great atmosphere, but that atmosphere is ruined due to clunky combat. James entering a creepy dark hallway with nothing to defend himself other than a plank a wood. An armless figure emerges from the darkness towards James and starts spewing a rancid smelling corrosive from its gaping torso. James manages to dodge in time and retorts back with a swing at the figure with his woody buddy. The lying figure twitches in pain and James approaches it to finish it off, but it quickly scuttles away like a roach avoiding light. James continues to swing at nothing . He tries chasing the creature but keeps swinging at nothing.

wow... that immersion. Man in mid 20's swinging 2x4 at enemy whose hitbox is too low to interact with. Team Blooper is giving us a blessing by giving up to date combat.

YOU WILL ENJOY BEING TO LOCK ONTO ENEMIES
YOU WILL ENJOY COMBOS
YOU WILL ENJOY COUNTER ATTACKS AND PARRIES
YOU WILL ENJOY JAMES' WRESTLING MOVES
YOU WILL ENJOY CRAFTING NEW WEAPONS AND BREAKABLE WEAPONS
YOU WILL ENJOY JAMES' commentary during combat and when interacting with the environment

you will enjoy the scene where James bashes a monster to death then look up at the camera with blood dripping down his face and he says

"MARY WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?!"

When I was in highschool, this guy a year before me had a fearsome reputation. At house parties , people would fear him just by name alone. He would show up to parties with his cronies and start fights. He came form a decent enough family. Everybody wanted to be on his good side.

Anyway, he graduates high school, and most of us were still in 12th grade. I remember he used to come around lunch time to smoke with the people out front, shoot the breeze and talk about how much fun it is to just sleep in and do nothing and have all this freedom. A couple of months of "OOOH COOL!" to "Why are you still here?" as we awkwardly shuffled back to class.

imagine if he was allowed to work night shift!

sometimes the walls in the house are illuminated with dark red light. hallways that aren't there before show up and extend into darkness. doorways are open ajar, but the rooms exhibit a foreboding presence despite being masked in darkness. A scuttling noise and bumps can be heard occasionally with no apparent known source. The windows are locked and doors leading to outside are missing. Sometimes essentials such as toilets and the fridge vanish. But there is always a sudden darkness. The faint red light that encases the walls dims. As the darkness becomes full I can't help but feel the presence of something coming out for me from the rooms. I feel them inch toward me and the anticipation gets so intense I black out. I'm still but it feels like someone is violently shaking me. I heard voices but they are mumbled. They are speaking way too fast for me to understand. I see the faces of multiple people looking at me but my head is spinning so fast they appear as a blur to me.

then there's the sensation of falling. all the fast moving colors and noises come to a halt. everything gets quieter as I fall through the floor. I look up at the house as it gets smaller and smaller as I fall deeper into nothing.

the darkness becomes calm. I have brief moments of clarity of someone aiding me to go the bathroom to vomit or someone helping me drink water . I become calm as soon I recognize Chiaki or Ibuki looking after me. they are such great friends!

the education system is severely outdated. Making kids wake up at 5am every day to attend classes until 3pm every day for 12+ years and nothing has changed? there's the 4 day school week now but that took nearly a century to finally be implemented.

I'm all for kids ditching school if they know what they want and to get the support they need to prepare them for adulthood. Having someone attend school and not work until they graduate isn't ideal since they won't have any credit or work experience.

and where are they going to get the income for a car or to move on? absolutely nothing wrong with working while young and while you have the support from your family to work at a job early.
