The idea of gender and sex being separate topics. Ignoring the popularity of using those words synonymously, I hear so much about "gender" being metaphysical and yet transgenders appear to fixate on the physical, from appearing like conventional ladies in appearance to ongoing hormonal treatment for secondary sex characteristics to imitative physical surgery. "True" transgenderism may in fact lie with the effeminate male or masculine female, and the androgynous or asexual individuals in the middle of the spectrum. Not this ideology of strong feelings over what's between one's legs. |
