I posted this quote last week about a man and his transgender girlfriend.

Hey everyone I was hoping for a bit of advice. I live in Scotland and honestly didn't think I'd have to worry about stuff like this until recently. On Friday my partner and I are going to a Pokemon TCG event. We've just found out the person organising it is a Trump supporter we've been avoiding since we found out the news. My partner is trans, and we can't be in the company of someone like that, because eventhough he doesn't know it he hates my partner. Do we message the venue and tell them about him? Or will this make things more difficult since we've pre registered? It's getting harder and harder to play the Pokemon TCG where we live because we're finding out a bunch of people are fascists.

There's been an update this week:

Well the local gaming shop with the trump supporter is full of shitty fascists and have been extremely rude to my partner and extremely patronising. They've done nothing to make the place safer and their customers are disgusting, threatening my parter with all sorts of things. And on top of that the review was deleted. If I could I would just bombard the place with shitty reviews to tank their reputation for protecting trump supporters. I'm just so angry, it's made her scared to go out and play Pokemon, let me fucking repeat, scared to play POKEMON because of all these skin head Nazis. Fuck Max XP gaming, fuck the people that go there and fuck Trump for giving them the confidence to ruin people's lives. Sorry for the post I've just never been this angry before and this seems like a good place to vent, because I found so many supportive people in my last post.

She claimed that she makes her own money through social media and she seemed disgusted at the idea of actually having to earn cash the normal way through a part-time job.

People on social media genuinely couldnt believe what they were watching.

Her mum, Nina Gray, jokingly said that Nicolette would quit a job before she would be fired.

In a surprising twist, the teenager blamed her mum for causing her to be a brat, saying: This is your fault. You literally cause me to be this way. You caused this. You chose to raise me here in Beverly Hills like this so deal with it.

The teen, dubbed the Beverly Hills Brat, first caught the worlds attention while appearing on US TV show Dr Phil because she wanted to enlist the celebrity psychologist to tell her mum that cutting her allowance was wrong.

I need money to buy clothes, I need money to buy shoes my mum just doesnt get it, she said on the show.

Nicolette openly admitted to having zero future goals, except for living a life where she doesnt have to work, be rich, and wear designer clothes. She told Dr Phil that she couldnt work out why her mum wouldnt buy her a Mercedes G Wagon for her birthday which casually retails at about $190,000 (140,000).

She said: When my mum doesnt give me more money, I make her life a living hell. I have my ways. My mum raised me with everything I wanted and she needs to continue because its the only life Ive ever known.

When her allowance was brought down, she added: I feel like a peasant. I cant live like this anymore. Im always out of money. If you ask me, I feel like my mum should be giving me $2,500 (1,832) a month just to cover my basic expenses.

Who knows, maybe shes desperately trying to be the next Cash Me Ousside Girl by appearing to be bratty and entitled.

It's not a political event or fundraiser. It's not even in America. It's easy to assume that everyone who supports Trump hates you, but it is also possible that they are simply ignorant of your issues, and perhaps the presence of a trans person engaging in the same activity on the same level will get them thinking about their stance on a more subliminal level. I know that makes it sound like they have to convince them or w.e. but all they need to do is show up and play cards.

If they don't feel safe, they should by all means avoid or leave the event. I don't want to cause anyone unnecessary pain. But imo just assuming things about people in such a hostile manner, and for that matter gathering posts from reddit and tweets as evidence to support said assumptions, is not so different from how the alt-right attacks people like yourself, and taking someone who was clearly on your side to bat and trying to disrespect them seems pretty counter-productive to me.
