Her debut used her American name Aeris. And that was the main game in the Final Fantasy VII series which impacted upon the lives of so many players. I don't play Japanese games. Aerith is only applicable to the Japanese release. My version said Aeris. Its also Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak in Pokmonm, and not Satoshi and Shigeru in Pocket Monsters. I will stick to what was in the games I played even when they are different to the Japanese release.
