Didn't have the plates to make 112.5 work so I had to do 115. Well I guess I could have done 110. Anyway I got 115x5 again so that's frustrating.

Tried to do some weighed chinups but I couldn't really do a productive volume so I dropped it

I always get envious of other people I see online who work out for like 6 months or even a year and they have abs and guns and stuff but I just gotta remind myself at how far below average I started at

literally all flab and no muscle, i looked like jack skellington when i cut down


I'm really pretty satisfied with my appearance but it would be nice to have abs one time before i die

Saturday is usually my heavy lifting day. It went poorly in that regard because I had to work and was tirrd. I was mentally burnt out so I just kind of zoned out and went more towards endurance instead.

Anyway, sore as hell today. Down 9 lbs since last week though. That won't continue at the same rate but still it's a step in the right direction. Hoping for 5ish this week and then I'll probably be at the point where I'm only losing 1 a week.

I've been bulking since November, been thinking about switching gears but it's so much easier to put weight on the bar when I'm gaining. Don't really want to give that up.

Did my bike.

Feeling pretty good about my progress over all. It's not earth shattering but it's sustainable. Gained about 20 pounds in about four months, squats went from 240x7 to 277.5x7, ohp from 107.5x2 to 120x4, bench 167.5x2 to 170x6

Took a recovery week. Starting this week off stronger at least on one lift.

My one armed barbell bench press is coming along nicely. My core has gotten to the point where it's not what's impeding my progress. I'm able to just kind of lift and have some linear progression atm. While this doesn't give me quite the pure chest workout as the two handed version, I definitely like the effect that it's having on my stabilizing muscles. That's helping my big lifts too. I'm only doing it once a week, so I'm definitely keeping it in my routine.

Anyway, trying to cut again. Saw a friend for the first time in 3 months. They said I've noticeably put on weight. Good kind in the arms. Not good in mid section. Vanity is a huge motivator for me, so hopefully this sticks.

Weighed in at 182.8, 183.0, 182.8 the last three days so my weight is steadily going up again after kind of treading water for a while. Almost to my goal of 185 (the weight I started at a little over a year ago)
